This base of vanilla protein powder / cottage cheese / milk / water can be used to make all sorts of flavours.

I like to add 2 pineapple rings and a bit of coconut essence for a pina colada flavour.

Or a banana and some peanut butter.

I don't bother with the xantham gum as i find them pretty thick anyway.

The options are endless, just use that as a base!

Where do you find the protein powder? I can only find chocolate. And....I don't like chocolate. I know...it's unAmerican!:ohwell:

If you go to the website it lists the calories for all of them, I want to say this one is around 180, I'm totally trying it later though!

I use jillian michaels' protein powder too. She has vanilla and chocolate and you can find it at Wal-mart by the pharmacy and slimfast stuff. At least that is where it is at at my wal-mart. It is like 10 bucks if i remember correctly. I have never used xanthum gum in my dashing dish smoothies either. I really like the peanut butter chocolate and i add a banana. Way good!

Possibly a dumb question but what does "Bump" mean? I've seen that in a lot of the responses.

People say "bump" just to get a thread moved back up to the top of the forum

Has anyone tried this without the sweetener? I'm not a fan of stevia or overly sweet drinks, but this still looks interesting.

sounds delicious and good idea, might try to make a vegan version. Or at least make the recipe here for my hubs :)

    Thanks!
