    So, got on the scale this AM & it was up a bit. Hoping that by official weigh in tomorrow it has straightened itself out!

    Powerjenn, Tom, Rene, Leah & Shelli - nice job on the losses this week!!!

    Rohima - hoping for a better week next week :)

    Deepa - good work maintaining during a holiday week

    Surferfreak - good luck tomorrow!!

    Kristin - yay on your loss! You're on your way to the 150's! That must feel incredible!

    Dtermined2012 - once you weigh in tomorrow, give yourself a moment to reflect on the past week, write up some strategies you could put in place to prevent a re-occurence - then move forward concentrating on making the week at hand incredible :)

    I think I'm going to post inch losses at my mini goal weights, if anyone else wants to join me (or if, like me, you care more about how you're feeling/looking instead of that number on the scale)!

    YES! THIS~! I need to remind myself this ALL THE TIME! I was over all 3 days on the weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. However, I'm pretty sure I'll be sad in the a.m. Only time will tell.

    eww wee! What a BAAAAD week I hardly exercised save for a monster cleaning of my mom's apartment today I fought with getting my water intake in and I ate like a CRAAAZY woman I will weigh in tomorrow morning after my C25K I am resarting it for the third time. And I have to get anew battery for my sister's scale right after my morning constitutional. We shall see the damage...lol I am holding myself accountable and owning my lack of discipline no ones fault but my own... Anyway I hope you all had a better go of it and I am ready for the new day the new week and Rocking it from this point on!

    Who starts a weight loss challenge and gains 2 lbs the first week?!?!? Me, apparently. I'll be honest, this was a really bad week for me. I got the news that a childhood friend of mine was found dead, I'm currently doing the job of 3 people at work (including training a new person), TOM came roaring in mid week and my 2 year old daughter is having surgery tomorrow morning.

    So, I'm admitting to making really bad choices, especially towards the end of the week. I'm wanting to put this week behind me and move forward and past this. I really need to learn to not emotionally eat and to use exercise instead of food to help with stress.

    So...sorry everyone! I promise to do better this next week! :embarassed:

    If you have any good vibes that you can send our way tomomrrow for the surgery, I'd appreciate it!

    Hello everyone! Busy hectic week this week, not just for me by the looks of the posts. My Dad got to go home today (Yay!), he's doing soooo much better! I only had 1 high calorie day this week (the 4th). All in all, I consumed 9,767 calories this week, 7 WHOLE days, a month and a half ago that would have been 2 days worth of calories, easy, and I'm eating 10 times more than I was too! Tomorrow morning is my weigh in, I'm hoping for a 1.8 lb loss this week, see you all at the scale!

    powerjenn - Mole sauce is a thick gravy type sauce which originated in Mexico. It is a combination of chocolate, chillies, garlic, and other spices that is most commonly served over chicken. My husband puts a little peanut butter in it too. Like any other dish, some people make it great while others... bleh...

    ginaquinn2 - Our first mini challenge was given late on Monday night by me. This is what it was. "For our first mini challenge, I'd like us to up our water intake. I know I always do this one first. ;-) It's very important!! Unless you are already drinking 8+ cups a day, the challenge is to drink at least 4 cups a day or one more cup than you usually do. If you already drink over 8 cups a day, please challenge yourself with something else!"

    Basically, this thread is like sitting around your dining table with some people you like to hang out with. :-) Someone will introduce a topic and it will get discussed for awhile and then someone will introduce something else, etc. It will be easy to follow, enjoy, participate in, etc. if you come here often and keep track of where you are at. One of our members gave a great post on how she does just that. If you come on here once a week, it will be harder and you definitely won't enjoy it as much or get as much benefit out of it. Your choice though.

    After 3 weeks of the scale not moving at all. . . Finally the scale moved :) I almost cried haha :)
    Using my weigh in from this morning instead of tomorrow morning. I am leaving to Vegas for work for a week! I'm just hoping to not gain weight . Going to pack healthy snacks and eat as best as I can. Bringing weights to do some exercise in my room :)
