Hi,
Fairly new to running myself. Did 5km Race for Life back in June (this is the first time I've managed to run it all) - and although I'm very slow (5km takes me 35-38 mins), I love it. I am slowly building up my distance. I regularly (3 times per week) manage 5km each time, so 15km per week. I love it, definitely caught the running bug. :-)
I have started to add 0.5km to one run per week, and on Monday this week, I did manage 5.6km without stopping. So it's definitely going the right way. I am building up to a 10km - although I've no event booked per say. I'd like to be able to do a 10km run at weekends, keeping my shorter runs (3-5km at lunchtimes midweek) - that's the aim anyway.
Add me if you like... and good luck with it xx0 -

I finished C25K over 2 years ago and have done lots of 5Ks, 10 milers and even a half. Getting ready for the OBX Half in November. Running is fantastic - and I never, ever thought I would say that. It's the only exercise that really gets the weight off for me. Feel free to add me - I love seeing all these running replies on here.0

Hi! I just started running and became addicted very fast! Yesterday for the first time I ran 5.15 miles after last week getting up to 4 miles. I bought a pair of running shoes because they were cheap (store return, last pair) and it has changed my life in the past three weeks! I'm doing mini-goals - right now I can do 3 miles 5-6 days/week. Next goal is 4 miles 5-6/days a week. Feel free to add me if you want0

I jog every morning. Feel free to add me, I'm looking to do my first 5k before the year is over!0

You can add me if you like. I run any where from 12 to 20 miles a week! I'm trying to talk my self into doing a half marathon. Some extra motivation would be great.0

That's what I do! I walk at a pretty steady pace and then I jog for a bit! But this morning I grab the wrong shoes and had on the shape ups! Not good at all! Those hills really kicked my butt.0

I really enjoy running and the feeling you get from it. I like to run outside and dread treadmills. I like having the option to choose my own route and powering myself through the run. Love it!0
