Lickety-split Meals by Zonya Foco has a great section on crock pot meals. Tortellini Stew is a favorite for my kids. Nutrition info is included on all the recipes. You can get it on Amazon for about 20 bucks. some sample recipes: http://www.zonya.com/healthy_recipes.html

Still trying to figure out what "bump" means..... neophyte, I know.

Chuck Roast (Got two good size pieces in one package at Costco for $18)
    Soy Sauce
    Basalmic vinegar
    Onion
    Minced garlic
    Cumin
    Ground pepper
    Basil
    Thyme
    Chili powder
A packet of ranch dressing powder

Splash soy sauce and vinegar into pot in approximately equal measure until bottom is thoroughly covered.

Add everything except the meat (chop onions to desired size). Mix it up.

Now take the meat and drop it in, roll it over, get it covered on all sides in sauce and spices.

Now splash some basalmic vinegar over the top of the meat, put on the lid, and cook on low for ~6 hours (depending on whether you added 1 cut of meat or 2 and the size of the meat it could be from 4-8 hours).

    Tangy and very tasty!

Approximate nutritional value for a 9 ounce piece. I deliberately overestimated my serving size on the sauces and onions to make sure I didn't go over carbs, though! Unless you slurp up the juice after you finish the meat (tempting!) it won't be quite this high.

    Calories 556

    Carbs 15

    Fat 38

    Protein 36

    Sodium 2,519

    Fiber 2

One more thing, if you're worried about sodium, halve the soy sauce or replace it completely with the basalmic vinegar.

All these sounds amazing! I use to make this all the time but not really low cal-so you would want to do it on a day where you have some extra calories

4-5 boneless pork loin chops (could also use a pork roast)
A large can of cream of chicken soup (I would use the low cal kind-can all use cream of mushroom or any other cream soup)
Cook on low 8-10hrs or high for 5-6hrs
    Salt and pepper
I usually make mashed potatoes and use the soup as a gravy.

Next time I make it-I am gonna try the cauliflower Mashed "potatoes" I found on here today!

Can I ask about calories? If you cooked a chicken in it's own juices in a crockpot is it more calorific than cooking it on a griddle which allows the juices to drain away?
I'm guessing it is but can't find the calories for just a cooked whole chicken in crockpot - I always remove skin before eating.
