    I'd always wanted to be a bridesmaid. When my sister got married, she asked me and I had the most wonderful day but when I got the photos back, I was horrified. I honestly had no idea that I looked that way and I vowed to change immediately. My profile photo is a reminder that I have come a long way and have a long way to go but that I never want to be that big again. That being said, it also reminds me of one of the loveliest days of my life.

    I was on holiday at the exact spot of my favorite place on earth (strandhill in Sligo on the west coast of ireland) , and was just done surfing for the day...happy times called for a happy picture :)

    Um. I used a photo of my son, my furry hippo, as an avatar on Facebook... and wanted to celebrate International Speak Like A Pirate Day so had to 'shop the photo. I quite like the look so use it when I fancy.

    I do not collect action figures or comics, but I love the Superman shield, and the whole persona and essence of Superman, and his ideals ("...truth, justice, and the American way..."). The shield is iconic. My avatar is an image of what may be the official shield used for the movies, though the shield on the suit is more traditional, yet a little different from "Superman" and "Superman Returns".

    Playing with my kids at the park. Once I feel healthy and have more energy I hope to really run around with them and b a super awesome mom, my motivation !

    When I was visiting my sister a few weeks ago, we were going through old pics and I found that one. I thought I wanted to be muscular/strong since I was a teen, but apparently, I've wanted it even longer than that. :laugh: I was probably 7 or so in that pic.

    I am preaching at a worship service with a group of over 200 Marines on Camp Pendleton. One of the main reasons I am on this site is so that I can get control of my weight issue and keep doing this.

    Grey Chocobo, Smoky.... "Wark". A commission that I should be recieving shortly. I am a video game lover and a chocobo is the pet that I would love to have, but alas, they do not exist.

    I am Roman Catholic and play in what is traditionally a Protestant Flute Band. They welcomed me with open arms (not because I am James Galway standard) but because I love music - I want to play with others who love music! Hence my picture proudly represents Northern Ireland 2012. I have had nothing but friendship, fun and an amazing new bunch of friends. I am proud to be part of the new emerging Northern Ireland where your talent/enthusiasm/passion goes beyond politics/religion/bigotry! And I have CDs on sale if anyone interested!! Only joking! But I am proud to be part of a new and changed culture!

    I had a performance coming up, and my little sister was visiting me for dinner and a chill-out session. I'd just bought a new curler and hat fascinator for the show, and so she decided to do a practice run on my hair so we knew how I wanted it on the night. That is what we came up with! The performance went brilliantly but I was rather disappointed to see the photos of myself in my dress... I looked like a blimp in a black sheet. That's one of the big things that made me want to get moving and DO SOMETHING about it!
