A book from "The wayward wind series" I had never heard of it before. The beginning is pretty dry, but I am mostly through it now. It is alright. It's called "Winds of Promise".

I just burned 50 shades of Grey, I couldn't pawn it off on anyone...for free. I'll never read again after that book.

 if I hadn't gotten the first one as an eReader, I would have LOVED to burn it! It took a lot of self control not to smash my Nook against the wall by the end!

Just finished partials and slated. Now on to night circus and unravelling. Oh and the loop on kindle, but I'm not really 'feeling' it as Evans seems to portray wolves in a very off way, maybe it'll get better but as I specialise in wolves it is a bit off putting!

I'm reading Game of Thrones. What is this 50 shades thing? My 16 yr old daughter has read it and tells me it is smut! I'm like Oh Really?
I was reading VC Andrews back then so I can't really say anything against it.

Am I the only one who hated the Fifty Shades books? I liked the topics involved, but the writing was too awful to stomach.

I'm currently reading "The Next Best Thing" by Jennifer Weiner, "Gone Girl" by Gillian Flynn, "Legend" by Marie Lu, and "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Hosseini. I like to read multiple books at once.

I've gotten through Book 2 of Game of Thrones, love the books and the series, I need to start book 3 but like someone said, these books are a committment. They are wonderful but very heavy, and the character list makes them hard to get through.

A couple I just finished that I liked are "Plain Truth" by Jodi Piccoult, and "Breaking Silence" by Linda Castillo. Oddly enough they are both about the Amish (fictional books), didn't plan it that way but it just happened, and I have to say the Amish are very interesting.

You guys should check out the site "goodreads.com" it is basically a book organizer where you can rate the books you've read and keep track of the ones you are currently reading. Good for someone who reads alot, and like me, has checked out the same books at the library before!!
  • I just finished the "50 shades"series and I just started reading "The Tipping Point" by Malcom Gladwell. I know random.........What about you???

About half way done with the third book in the 50 Shades of Grey Triology. I have mixed feelings about the book and the relationship between Christian and Ana. But still an awesome read! What was your opinion?

I've steered clear of fifty shades after reading the first few pages. Awful, awful writing!

I loved legend - was very hunger games esque though. Try slated by Teri terry, an excellent read.

Last week I finished The Coffin Dancer by Jefferey Deaver. Now reading The Midnight Club by James Patterson. Soon starting The Dark Half by Stephen King. I kinda like thrillers if you couldn't tell, lol! (Dean Koontz is me favorite author!)
