I'm 5'1! When I joined MFP after having my second baby in February, I was about 140. I am now 117.
My heaviest ever was in college though when I topped the scale at 175. I was down to 110 though when I got pregnant with my now 4 year old daughter. No magic fixes, no pills, no crash diets. I got active, and tracked my calories. LIfestyle change.
These days I still have about 5 pounds I want to shed. I am running, kickboxing and doing strength training!
Great job ladies! Us short gals gotta stick together!0 -
You ladies look great!0

Thank you for all the motivation. I have seen my body size on you ladies and realize I can do this. I want to look like your after pics.

DLKeeble: Thank you for the kind comment! It's been all about accountability and dedication. I've slipped up a few times, but I know I cannot reach my goal without either of those ideals present.
Also, to everyone, feel free to add me. :happy:0 -

5'3 here
250lbs was my starting weight
It was a start and stop kinda thing, I wasn't really serious... I did get pregnant and lose 70lbs and gained 25.5lbs back. I'm not exactly sure of the weight I am in this photo
Found the photo on the left yesterday on my mom's facebook page. The one on the right I took yesterday. I was actually taking photo's for my before and after's for slim in 6 but then seen the one on my mom's page and had to show it cus it's crazy. I should try on the old suit and take pix in, lol actually it probably would just fall off...

One word: AMAZING!!!!!0

I'm not sure I've lost a significant amount, but I'm short and have lost weight! My profile pic is a before and after. I'm 5'2" and lost about 20 lbs. My starting weight was between 136-138, and now I'm down to 117-120 (depending on the day). All it took was exercise and eating right (but I was eating a very healthy vegan diet so that probably boosted the loss).0

SO enjoying this. I adore the babies too, and love, love, love when kids photo-bomb thier parents!0

My starting weight: 156.x
Pic weight: 137

No pics yet (I'm waiting for another 10 or so lbs), but My SW was 168, and with careful calorie counting, I've dropped down to 153 It doesn't sound like much, but I *feel* better, and people in my ballet class (where you wear a leo, tights, and nothing else) have commented on how much "healthier" I look0

Hi Cupcake, My sister in law is about your height but weighedmore. She works at a hospital and went to their weight program. She is on 1200 calories a day and they told her to be sure and get 80 grams of protien a day. She has lost 75 lbs in 5 months. meijers sells a protein powder that you can mix with anything, I use skim milk and 1 scoop of that is 35 grams, and greek yogurt is like 25 grams. I mix sugar free coolaid mix with the yogurt and it makes it pretty good!
Best of luck
