Super Pumped After Doctor Visit!
Just went back to the doctor since my Type 2 diagnosis on 3/7/12. I have lost 15 pounds and my A1C dropped from 7.6% to 6.0%! I have a long way to go, but it felt beyond good to hear those numbers!!!!

I currently have the OneTouch Ultra Mini which my doc gave me for free. (I've seen it at walmart for about $20) However, the supplies are pretty pricey even with insurance. (about $70 for strips and lancets) Just wondering what you guys are using?

news from doctor part 2
Yesterday i recieved my results back from my a1c.It was 6.3 so im doing something right .It was 11 .I really think my hospital stay and getting insulin because i was on steroids made my numbers so high. They showed on my test in january. so i guess yeah me mo:smile:

went to the doctor today i lost 30 lbs since jan 3rd. I was taken off one dose of my metformmin. he said my numbers were excellent. average being 110 fasting in the morning. I must be on the right trail. have a great day mo:smile:

today was my cheat day so to say. I had sweet tea, a choclate cupcake, almond joy coffe creamer. I got to thinking wow i prolly really am going to be high in the morning. What to do about feeling in a fog?
I'm noticed lately that I've been in fog more when trying to concentrate on my work in the office. I check my sugars and they are where they are suppose to be. Does any one else have this problem?
