Charcot Foot
I was wondering if anyone in the group has Charcot Foot. This makes losing weight very difficult, I have been told not to walk on the foot too much. Just wondered if anyone else has similar problems, or has a problem exercising? Thank you.

Hi Everyone I was diagnosed type2 in January. I have recently lowered my A1c to 6.3 (from 9.6 when Dx). I have been pretty good at watching what I eat - I live a low carb lifestyle, and have lost about 35lbs since January. All is good...except... I do all the cooking, which is no problem, but on the weekends I like to take…

Canadian blood sugar vs. U.S. blood sugar readings
It sounds like our A1C numbers are similar but I am baffled by the daily readings. I am Canadian and my target range is 5 to 7. My A1C target is under 6. Is the American daily blood sugar number just times 100 of what a Canadian reading would be or is it completely different? I am just curious- does anyone know? Thanks

I'm a grazer - think this will help?
Hi, I am a grazer...I like to snack all day long and sometimes late at night. So, in order to get my bs down, I'm thinking of making some substitutions....specifically I'm looking at eating pork rinds, beef jerky, and popcorn, instead of chips and other garbage. Anyone else doing this and has it helped? Also, if eating…
