Where to RE-start EM2WL???
I've been way off on my eating for about 2-3 months. Very very little cardio and lifting once a week still. But I have been eating whatever I want, whenever I want. I have been exceeding my TDEE because I have gained 8-10 pounds. SO I am thinking that I can count these past 2-3 months as a metabolism reset and restart TDEE…

40/30/30 question
Hello, I'm new to MFP and this forum. Do the 40/30/30 ratios have to be per meal or can they be for the day? (i.e. if I am short on a macronutrient can I eat more of that macronutrient with my evening meal)? Thanks for the clarification. Heather

Metabolic Resistance Training (MRT)
I 've been researching Metabolic Resistance Training (MRT) using Lyle McDonald's site [http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/training/weight-training-for-fat-loss-part-1.html] and other resources, but I've just managed to thoroughly confuse myself. I should also mention that I just started day 1 of the Maximum Capacity (MRT)…

I need to know it's okay...
I started on MFP in April of this year. I have lost 33 lbs so far. I injured my hip in August and after getting physical therapy for 3 months am now finally getting into a better workout routine. I've noticed that over the past 2 months I haven't really budged much on the scale, although I have lost inches. From October -…

Reset is freaking me out. Ack!!
Hi all, I think I just need some support here... I joined MFP in the late fall, and of course it recommended I eat 1200 calories- which I did, dutifully, hungrily. I was at that time running 5 miles 4 x per week and working out on nautilus machines. I wasn't comfortable eating so little, so I was psyched when I found Road…

Not enough calories, protein, too much carbs, fat.
As the subject line spells out, I'm having trouble reaching my calorie and 40% protein intake without going over on my 30% carbs and 30% fat. What are the foods that the rest of you ladies eat to reach the proper balance? I got to playing with my food log and I found the closest I can get to a balance is to eat: 18 oz.…

Still hungry!!
Hi all, A bit of background - I successfully completed a reset earlier in 2012 and was eating at -15% on TDEE for around 4 months with slow but steady loss of around 0.5lb a week. Around 8 weeks ago I started a new lifting programme with my PT, upper & lower body split 4 days a week for an 1hr and 2 days of short (under 30…

Is this okay?
I reset my cals to 20% less my TDEE and I currently a minimum of 4 days at the gym. Typically one day is 45 - 50 minutes of jogging/elliptical and one day is weights and 30 minutes of cardio. Is this okay? Will I lose? The weights I do are not heavy lifting yet. I need to start that. Typically I do 2 arm, 2 leg, and 2 ab.

Crazy Leg NSV
This NSV must be prefaced with the story for why this is so AWESOME. It WILL make sense by the end, I promise! In October 2009, my very well-meaning, adorable puppy pulled me towards my back door in his excitement to get home from a walk. I slipped on a bunch of wet leaves, fell, and landed with my entire body weight on my…

According to Scooby's site that puts me at Moderate Activity, but I'm having a hard time swallowing the fact…

what activity level am I at?
Hey there, so I do about 1 hour of pop Pilates everyday, and then maybe 30-40 minutes cardio using the ntc app. I do this 6 days a week, but other than the exercise the rest of time I spend mostly just at home sitting since it's the holidays and I'm not moving/walking around as much. I'm only asking this because I need…

Are my calculations correct?
I am new to MyFitnessPal and to this group. Unfortunately, I am not new to dieting. Worse, last year I had surgery and did not bounce back very well. While I did not gain a lot of weight, I did lose my appetite. I'm rarely hungry, yet I am class 3 morbidly obese. So ... I'm going to give EM2LW a chance. I just purchased…
