Exercise is the CO part of CICO. It is part of weight loss. Many people early in the fitness journey can't exercise enough to burn off many calories. It is a blend of both. Eat less and do more. Those answers that seem to be extreme all or nothing type answers are often not true for most people. There is no feelings part…

It seems to be an Internet forum term. I joined a gym and had a trainer for a year before joining MFP. Never heard that term, newbie gains. Muscles grow when challenged and fed, then you sleep so they can rebuild Just keep working them and watch your calorie intake. It is easy to over eat when lifting and thinking we need…

Are you doing a solid 60 minutes of cardio to burn off your glycogen? Burning it out of your system works. If you eat sugar, burn it off

Many people have a hormone dump around 3-4 am It contributes to the morning number I took a bedtime half metformin. My dr said not to worry so much about occasional rises as consistently exercising to burn off my blood glucose He had me on a 2 year plan to reverse my newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes It has worked so far 5.4…

I like more afternoon and evening meals Kind of opposite of what you often hear It works for me I am not aware of anything other than folklore stating meal timing matters aside of loading for endurance exercises. Just eat Make the timing work for you

Cross your arms and place your hands on your shoulders Not behind your head or neck It takes lots of crunches to do good And don't lay flat in the reps. Like 50 left right and center non stop while never going flat back If that does not work, find a different abdominal exercise more suited to your body.

Sleep Blood tests Strength in the gym Speed on the bike Speed running Size and for of clothes Lots of things to notice In 90 days if you are eating right and working hard it should all show some improvement Maybe using a tape measure would be a better measure of success than feeling yourself. Hard to quantify a "feel"

Carbs are a great high octane fuel. I eat a spike before a challenging workout. They are not a bad food or anything for most people. Some, like me are a bit more insulin resistant. But I can still eat them and burn them up. I just manage them more closely to actual high energy needs. To your question.., I think it does not…

Talk with your team trainer and coaching staff. Their job is to know that They probably know the newest ideas You may end up sharing those with us. I would be interested to hear what they say. It sounds like triathlete nutrition is what you are searching for.

If you buy fresh veggies and meats, have a little fresh fruit, you are in control of your food intake. If you want more or less fat or sugar, you can season that in or use a gravy as calorie carrier. Pretty easy to control your own world that way.

Triathalon training on low carb I have not read the whole thing I do agree with much of it I had 9% of my food from veggie carbs and still had a fast 20 mile ride. Only stopped cuz it was getting dark I think the food production industry has really soaked our nation in misinformation on the supposed need for so many carbs…
