  • I'm not really trying to lose weight. But I am trying to eat more whole foods, and organic/locally. I also want t keep on track with my running!! Goodluck to all you weddingbee ladies!!!
  • Am I missing something? That video was terrible quality, and I didn't understand it!
  • I mainly work on Cardio, because it makes me feel good, and I love beating my personal bests. I haven't changed my diet too drastically, I just limit my junk, and in 3 1/2 months I have lost about 13lbs. So I don't see how cardio can inhibit weightloss, maybe you aren't pushing yourself hard enough.
  • Low carb diets/lifestyles help people to lose weight quickly.Personally I couldn't do it. I like my ancient grains toast for breakfast with PB and enjoy sandwhiches on whole grain bread too much. Some people say that whole wheat is actually bad for you, but I can't see how that is.....
  • LOL... I think potatoes are fine, as long as you don't fry them. Heck my fiances grandparents ate them everyday at dinner, and his grandfather just celebrated his 93rd birthday. This guy still lives on his own with his 85 year old wife, with no caregiver.
  • You look so wonderful now. Honestly I think you looked beautiful before as well at 160lbs. I am happy for you that you are well now, and please try not to worry about that number on the scale. You are healthy now, and that is what matters most.
  • Aww that sucks, sorry. It's kind of a compliment, I guess, because at least you know it shows. But it really is ridiculous when people can't just be supportive of one another. I have gotten comments before, but during this journey, none at all, except from my fiance who says, " Girl you are getting too skinny..." but he…
  • That's great. Honestly, I do get noticed alot more now. I did before ( as I have only lost 10lbs) but I do now wayyyy more than I ever did before. I dislike it though. It makes me incredibly uncomfortable.
  • About 45 minutes a day 5x a week. I have a son so when I am at the gym I have got an hour total, and that includes, changing, washroom, setup. It isn't much, but I make it work. I have lost almost 10 lbs since I started 3 months ago. I know it's not much, but it's good enough for me!!!
  • I aways eat yogurt before bed if I am hungry. Its good for the digestive tract, and always settles my hunger. Not sure if its good for you though, weightloss wise.
  • Great job!!!! I never could stand p90x, but your results do tempt me!!!
  • I took it a long time ago, and it actually seemed to help me. But I think it just gave me the boost I needed before work outs. That being said, I wouldn't go near that stuff anymore. It's too risky. Now, I take "Stamina" vitamins. They are from the brand Jamieson, and they give me the boost I need before a workout, but…
  • I'm not a guy, but I have an opinion! I think sex appeal comes from within. Many women and men can exude their sexiness without being a certain ideal, or fit within criteria that is usually sexy. It comes from a wiggle in a hip, a look in the eye, a smirk on the face. However, if we are talking pure asthetics here, I'd…
  • Well since you stated you eat alot of unhealthy foods, i;m thinking some of it might be from your sodium intake. You could be retaining water in your face. I do!! However, you probably also have more of a rounder face to begin with, which I have always liked. Very cute. Learn to love it!
  • Nothing will help them go away, except for a tummy tuck. Sorry! I had a baby too, two years ago, but I was in a bikini 8 mos after having him, stretch marks and all. I know for a fact most people don't notice them, maybe some women who are looking for them, but thats about it. Eventually they will fade.
  • No, but I feel the same way! Currently I am doing alot of squats and actually running seems to tone it up more so than actually get rid of it!
  • Everyone is so different. I am 5'5 and looking back, I think I looked best at about 137lbs. Just because at that weight everything was in good proportions. I am not focusing on weight anymoe, so I haven't got a goal!
  • Tell him it hurts your feelings. I think that is very unsuppotive of him, and actually quite mean. Obviously your health and happiness is much more important than breast size. Don't worry, it happens to the best of us!
  • Thanks guys! I know, alot of people always want to be smaller, and better, and not so happy with where they are. Which is fine, because there is always room for improvement. I'm just at a place now where I actually love my curves, and I am celebrating it, because it took me alot of years of hating myself to get here.
  • I don't have any advice since I am not a pear. I just wanted to say, pears are my favorite body type asthetically. :) I'm sure you look great as you are!
  • I don't think its too much, although it seems like alot. I only go for a 30-45 minute run a day, with some stretching, and light weight lifting as well, and it seems to be doing good for me. However, I'm more into slow and steady, and don't have aot to lose. So it just depends. Just make sure you get enough rest, rest…
  • Everyone is different. I know this one lady is who is pretty skinny. Not like scary skinny, but what a person would consider more on the slim side. I know she works out, but I have a feeling not overly, as she has alot of equipment, that doesn;t get used much. However, you go in her fridge and there is low calorie…
  • That's great. It makes it all the worth while for your children doesn;t it?
  • Thanks. I know it isn't much, but it's still progress right?
  • Nuts (the ermerald cocoa powdred almonds are so good!), popcorn tiny bit of butter added, and some pepper to taste, low fat cheese and or soy cheese, frozen berries in vanilla yogurt, turkey pepperoni, bran muffins made with frozen bananas and frozen berries(my favorite)!
  • This is crazy, I did the exact same things except I would finish it off with a big purge. So I have never been overweight, but I have been an overeater for years. Years ago when my boyfriend at the time was at work, I would eat so much food, almost everything in the house, purge it, and then go to the grocery store to…
  • Thank you ladies!!!
  • Thank you!
  • Cool. But it put into perspective just how large I was to begin with :(. not that i'm " large", but maybe I need to actually focus on losing weight, instead of just being "healthy". Hmmmmmmmmm. Thanks for the link though lady!
  • I think minute for minute, with the same effort put forth, the treadmill would be the best because you are moving your body, rather than using your arms and legs to move a machine. I could be wrong. I have lost weight both ways to be honest. I find I can do 30 minutes of running and feel so much better than an hour on an…
