  • How much caffeine is in the sugary drinks you're using? It is very possible you are having caffeine issues.
  • How did you find out he ordered them? Receipt left out on the table or a an order confirmation email sent to your address ( I use my husband's Amazon account so he sees these before I do.) Or were you snooping? IF it was public info (the first two methods -- just ask out right. Maybe it as simple as he heard something on…
  • I can not comment on an office environment with other women as Ihave always been in offices full of men and I am ususally the only woman. However to you office-mates question, "How long will this last?" I would have repsonded "As long as it does, I take it one day at a time and do not think of a slight hiccup as failure."…
  • I know my biggest problem has become the sodium count. Most restaruant food has just way too much salt! And many of them won;t tell you the sodium count even if they do tell you the calories. Esepcially since my Doc told me to get my daily sodium down to less than 1500 mg PER DAY. Can some one tell me how you get 2000 mg…
  • Robert Married: 28 years this October; together 34 this December Eyes -- I fell into those blue eyes first time I saw him -- amd I have never found my way out. At this point there are so many things...the way he treats me, the type of father he has been to our son, he is my anchor and safe cove, but he is also the wind in…
  • OMG Yes! I was doing good resisting buying candy till Saturday night when both DH and only child insisted we needed Easter Candy. And then my neighbor left me some Peeps on the back porch (my fav!) Oh well...today is a new day.
  • Sandard rule in our house if you are sick is eat what appeals to you. Get back to normal once you are well. I would be giving him the shakes -- if he likes them, sherbert, ginger ale, straight broth (chicken or beef) what ever he will take and keep down.
  • I thought peanut butter was a real bad food to have. I have given it up, I really miss it. [/quote] Peanut butter in and of itself is not a bad thing -- no nut butters are. Just read the label and avoid the ones with added sugar.
  • Good for you! It looks great!
  • I guess this means you will root for the Ravens this weekend!
  • try a salt with larger grains -- Kosher, or maybe pickeling. I sprinkle it in my palm and then use my fingers to add it to my plate so I can see what I am putting on, and I know that I did put it there. I use a LOT less that way.
  • What are you using for? If just a flavoring -- like on french fries try fresh ground black pepper.
  • Good for YOU! You can do this! Keep it up!
  • Vacumm seal them and keep dry. I use the same canning jars and lids. You can get the attachment for the Foodsaver on their web site. I have both sizes so I can do both size jars. THIS IS NOT CANNING type preservation, but oats will keep pretty near forever as long as they are are kept dry and bug free. I do this with…
  • Couponing a great way to stretch a budget, but I would take “Extreme Couponing” with a grain of salt. There was an article in our paper recently on that show -- it is defiantly not real even if they call it reality. The producers get stores to basically ignore their own coupon policies all for the sake of the show's…
  • Maybe you should focus more on why you want any Children. My husband and I have always felt that children should be a happy extension of a grounded and stable relationship. We were blessed with one child. We had decided if there were no more by the time he entered school, there would be no more...and there weren't. Much…

  • Hi from Pasadena, MD! Welcome and feel free to add me as a friend.
  • I chew gum..lots of gum! sugarless...
  • Why are you looking at sodium? Is it just because it is a good idea -- or do you have a health issue that demands it , like High blood pressure? I ask because that will determine how dedicated you wish to be in cutting the amount down you take in. For me it has become a necessity. 1) Add sodium to the columns of things you…
  • Personally, I prefer a nice tight backside...Abs are okay, but usually the guys that have them spemd too much time maintaining them (IMHO).
  • MY first thought on reading your post was "Dump the jerk..." But I have been married to the same man for close to 30 years and if there is one thing I have learned it is that even men that love us will insert their foot in their mouths all the way to the hip -- bite down and chew well and then swallow... I would suggest…
  • Is RIT The Rochester Institute of Technology? If so I am familiar with the school, it is my DHs alma mater. I will say that while it was tough going for him -- he said it was the first time he as really challenged -- the education he got there was worth every penny. It laid the ground work for the career he has had for the…
  • Probably not. The reason female athletes stop is the same reason that women with anorexia stop -- loss of the body fat below the minimum necessary to support the TOM cycle,
  • A family size box of "Crunch & Munch"...in less than 10 minutes flat. It was like something out of a cartoon -- just open mouth and pour. In my defense I did have a killer migrain...
  • Yes I was serious about marrying him -- but NO it was not pressure to marry. The orginal note gave the very distinct impression that (as was confirmed) marriage had been discussed. I was mearly pointing out that it has legal advantages that should be considered if you are actually taking the steps to live together. I am…
  • Okay....one big question... you love him. I assume he loves you (and that you know this to be a true statement.) Why aren't you getting married? Contary to popular belief Marriage is not about love, or even commitment -- it is about building a life together and loving each other enough to protect what you build. Marriage…
  • My only complaint was that to finish the article they want you to register with the Boston Globe.
  • Feels good doesn't it!! keep it up!
