  • Yay! Thank you everyone! Now I understand why some people have such a hard time gaining.
  • So no vegetables ?
  • Thank you everyone! I'm think i'm going to stick to fruits and vegetables and a lot of water. @icsracer- i don't normally eat movie theatre popcorn because of all the fat and calories , but it was one night so i let myself have some. I've definitely noticed that certain foods make me feel sick even though i used to eat…
  • Pizza! I could eat a whole large dominoes pepperoni pizza! I probably have pizza less than once a month now, but when i do it's only 1 or 2 pieces.
  • Berry parfaits. blueberries, rasberries, strawberries, fat free yogurt, low fat granola. Just keep layering them , then top with cool whip. Soo good! (:
  • Basically you're keeping your body and metabolism always guessing. If you eat the same amount calories your body gets used to it and then you might stop losing weight. On a zig zag plan, you eat a different amount of calories everyday. Some days are really high, others are kinda low, some right in the middle. When you have…
  • I put salsa on a lot of things. Eggs, salads, chicken, fish. It's not too high in calories and it tastes wonderful !
  • I don't understand how 1200 can be the minumum for a 5'8 person who weighs 135, and a person like me who is 4'11 and 116. I makes sense that I would need less right? I get what you mean about being smaller and not needing as many calories. I'm not sure where that specific number came from , but I would like to know the…
  • I replaced all the oil with applesauce when i made a cake. It tasted exactly the same and cut down on a lot of calories. My family couldn't even tell the difference!
  • A chicken or turkey wrap would be good , as long as it's grilled not fried , and doesn't have mayo or ranch. Maybe there will be a grilled chicken sandwich? Or you could always bring your own meal from home. That's the only way to be sure you will have something healthy. (:
  • Cottage cheese and blueberries, plain greek yogurt, eggs and turkey bacon/sausage, nuts. You could even eat non-breakfast food, like left overs from dinner. Good luck (:
  • I drink a cup of coffee or tea. It makes me fulll and gets rid of my cravings right away. Something i read in a magazine was to have a picture of yourself in a bathing suit or something else un-flattering and look at it before you start eating something bad. I love all the other suggestions! (:
  • Plain greek yogurt, beef jerkey, hard boiled eggs, cottage cheese, nuts.
  • Oatmeal usually keeps me full for a long time. Or I'll have a scrambled egg and a bowl of fiber one cereal and the protein and fibers keeps me full for a while (:

  • I really don't think you need anyones approval on here. If you feel like you need to do something for yourself that is going to help you, then do it. We are all here for you, but no one is going to give you a magic answer on what you should do. Do what you need to do (:
  • I made some a while ago. I didn't exactly have a recipe, but i made of mixture of beaten eggs/egg whites, then added spinach and whatever other veggies i had, and some shredded turkey. Then i poured them into a muffin pan and cooked until they were set. They were delicious! and you can make all kinds of different ones. I…
  • Beef jerkey is hign in protein and low cal! But the sodium can be a little high..
  • I usually just eat egg whites because they are so low calorie, or sometimes I'll do 1 egg white and 1 whole egg. Some people don't think egg whites have any taste, but to me they taste fine and pretty good with some salsa. It all depends on what your calorie/macronutrient goals are (:

  • I spray some spray butter on it, add salt and pepper, then microwave it. There's a fish button on my microwave so i just use that, it's about 5 min. When it's done, it's white and kinda flakey. Delicious!
