Wow, such harsh judgements. Chris, please don't let some of the old timers scare you off. They're lack of tact is probably a self-esteem issue. There are good people here who offer good advice and don't just troll the board looking to bully.

The only thing that would draw me there is the deviled eggs. Unless there was a medical reason I couldn't have roasted turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn casserole, crescent rolls, cranberry & dried cherry sauce and pumpkin pie or pecan pie with fresh whipped cream - I would give up low carb/keto for the day.

I like Ken's Steakhouse Lite Northern Italian dressing.

I would never do ANY type of meal replacements from ANY company, but Herbalife vitamin supplements are fine. I worked for the company that manufactured for Herbalife and witnessed first hand the quality control and research that went into every product they made. It's a quality product, but meal replacements of any kind…

I don't eat breakfast all that often, but if I do I have Ezekiel toast topped with egg salad (one hb egg+ 1 tbsp light mayo).

But it does have extra things added - and the honey 'blend' (not real honey) they use is NOT natural. A honey blend made with sugar & modified corn starch is hardly 'natural'. I've never tried to make my own, but I might now with the recipe posted. I do like Fage 2% as well.

I'm in California and I started using Fit Foods last week. I just use it to supplement, not doing the 'plan'. I work in production so eating right is difficult, we are surrounded by unhealthy snacks and sometimes it's difficult to go out and grab a healthy lunch. Overall I have been satisfied with the lunches I've picked…

Cutting back on carbs is what works for me. I can eat 1200 calories and not lose weight. I can eat 1200-1400 calories and cut back on carbs and I lose weight.

That sounds about right, maybe a little light actually (it's probably more like 800-900k). You are looking at 200-300 alone for the bun, 100 for cheese and you are looking at probably at least 1/3 lb.s ground beef used in the burger (about 300k for and 80% lean burger) and another 70-90k for whatever they use to bind the…

My daily goal is under 40g. Generally is go below 25g I don't feel so hot.

Disclaimer: My response it not directed to the poster of the above quote, I just sued the quote for reference :) Cow's milk is not the only source of calcium and protein. If we eat well, we get all the calcium and protein from fruits, vegetable, meats, legumes & eggs, even a vegan cane get plenty of calcium and protein…

I've been drinking Bulletproof Coffee for about 18 months on & off, I go thru phases. I do 8 oz of coffee though (but keep the rest of the measurements the same). I have my co-workers hooked on it as well. A few things: Always use a french press and high quality coffee. Always use Unsalted grass fed butter Always use a…

I tell my kids that cow's milk is for baby cows. They drink almond or coconut milk.

I made bread last night, then topped it with proscuitto and white cheddar then put in under the broiler for a minute - SO GOOD. I used my preschooler's sandwich shaped lunch container (like the one below) so it came out looking just like a piece of bread :)

Can't wait to try this!

Kelp noodles (just rinse them real well before using), Quest bars, SF Popsicles, Atkins PB Cups.

Breakfast was Bulletproof Coffee. Lunch will probably be a Chipotle bowl with steak, sour cream, cheese, guac, pico and lettuce. Last night I made a keto meatloaf stuffed with goat cheese so that will be dinner tonight as well.

The same thing happens to me on cruises. IMO, it's water retention. I don't workout on cruises but I burn a ton of calories just walking all the boat. I went a few weeks ago on a 3 day cruise and I was up 2 lbs when I came home and a few days later I was back down.

Subway meat is quite possibly the worst deli 'meat' out there. It is so full of nitrates and artificial colors and artificial flavorings. So no, it's not 'good' for you. Heck, even the veggies there have added colors and chemicals!

Quinoa is not really a great source of protein, it's still mainly a carb rich food. A cup of quinoa is about 200c and 8 grams of protein. 200 calories worth of most veggies (let's say lettuce) will give you 10-15g of protein. http://www.grassfedgirl.com/quinoa-superfood-low-protein-unsustainable-inflammatory-hard-digest/

Artichoke Chicken I use a whole cut up chicken with a skin & bones so it comes out juicy. If you are doing this for just chicken breast you'll have to adjust ingredient amounts and cooking time. Preheat oven to 375. 1 onion cut into quarters or chunks the size of the artichoke hearts 1 can quarters artichoke hearts (not…

I used to have T Fal til I learned about all the nasty chemicals it can leach during cooking if you get even the slightest scratch. I would go with a stainless steel set. You can find some great deals on QVC or HSN as well as using a 20% coupon at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I have a few stainless pieces I have purchased thru…
