  • The yoga dvd is very long and I still get frustrated. I skipped it for awhile and then was feeling tight so I did the routine and the next day I was sore, really sore. Honestly I really believe that Tony is right and it's a crucial part of the program. The more you do it the less of a punishment it feels.

  • I'm in phase 3 week 3 of the Lean program. It never really gets any easier since you're always improving and increasing the reps and weights, I have to say that I feel a huge difference in my fitness level from the beginning until now. It's super addictive! Feel free to add me as a friend!
  • I workout to sweat like a maniac. I'm a pretty big sweater so I usually end up looking like a hot mess by the end, but I feel good so that's all that matters to me. I don't care what anyone else thinks. I don't stink (that much) so if someone is offended by my sweaty shirt and horrendous hair that's their issue, not mine.…
  • It's all about examples that are set. If the parent does nothing but stuff their face with junk and sit around all day can you really expect the kids to do any different? Also in impoverished areas there are "food deserts" where people have no option for healthy food at a reasonable distance. Don't say they can drive,…
  • I used one of those weight loss belts after I had my daughter. I found that I did sweat more in that area, which may have helped since I held a ton of water post delivery and it gave my poor stretched past their limit muscles some support.
  • NIrvana, Lithium
  • Feel free to add me. I log in all the time.
  • Underwire sports bras. They changed my life. No boob moving.
  • Bio Oil takes away the red angry ones and Mederma Stretch Marks therapy smooths them out. Mine we terrible, and all over my stomach, and it looks pretty acceptable now.
  • Wait until you get to week 4 of Ripped. That thing is killer! It's a fun workout though and the time seems to pass very quickly. Enjoy!
  • I get that this is the internet, but it's also supposed to be a supportive community. We're all trying to get in better shape. Being mean isn't the best way to do that. This is the main reason I sometimes think that I want to go to a site where I have to pay to be a member. But then I wouldn't have the awesome support from…
  • A pair of AG skinny jeans in pink!
  • I love Jillian! Have a great, adrenaline filled 29 more days!
  • No sense it doing 30DS. I recently completed Ripped in 30 as well and have started Extreme Shed and Shred, the newest in the line. Yesterday was my first day, and I am used to Jillian and I sort of thought it was easier than Ripped, but today I woke up with noticeable soreness in new places. So that's my recommendation.
  • Honestly, you're eating way too many processed foods and white carbs. There is a lacking of fresh fruits and veggies which are so important in making you feel full and your body needs them. I also noticed that your water is lacking. Not drinking enough can actually cause your body to store water and processed foods will…
  • I had it. It took literally 2 years for my body to regain control. My blood sugars would crash when i worked out or got too hungry and then soar when I ate. I was lucky that I didn't have to use insulin or anything, but I still never want to prick my fingers ever again. It can also have consequences for your child. My…
  • No reason to be scared. Some days it doesn't say what you want, but it's only a number. Remember that you are stronger than before and focus on how you feel. That being said, have you tried measuring yourself? My weight can be slow to go down but the inches will move making me feel that much better.
  • Have you been checked for diabetes?? I had it when I was pregnant and it took literally 2 years for my blood sugar to even out. Constant thirst is a sign. As for your low energy, BC does terrible things to me too. Severe swelling and mood swings to depression on some. It again takes time for it all to work its way out of…
  • Ripped in 30, kickboxing, yoga, pilates. If you have comcast check out exerciseTV they have a ton of options!
  • You can add me! 29/f married cardio junkie.
  • I have just started week 2. It's insane. I'm fully convinced Jillian has lost her mind. That being said I am already noticing that my stomach is looking a little more toned. If you have done 30 DS you will be well conditioned for ripped in 30. I can let you know how the rest of it goes once I'm done but all in all I…
  • The crab walk. Enjoy.
  • Drink lots of water, be active, and I find when I am having issue rubbing my lower abdominal's in a downward motion seems to make everything move a little easier. Also I will add that dissolving fiber to my water on days where I am having some issues. Hope this helps some!
  • Congrats to you!! You look amazing!!!
  • As Jillian would say, "if it didn't have roots or a mother don't eat it."
  • Coffee has a ton of health benefits. I have a cup every morning. I put my Lactaid in it and leave out the sugar so it's not at all a diet wrecker. Those creamers can get scary fast!
  • Planks, side planks, reverse crunches, bicycle crunches, and pilates will all help to strengthen the core muscles. Your skin my be a little stretched and if you lost weight in your stomach quickly it can take a little time for the skin to bounce back. Hope this helped!
  • A few hard candies, or keep a single serving of hershey kisses in your desk and when the urge to cave strikes savor the heck out of them.
  • Swimming, rowing, some pilates.
  • The machines tend to lie. A lot. Make sure when you enter something like biking though you use the correct mph on here!
