That's pretty much all that needs said on this subject. The best way to get better at anything, is to do more of it*. *Excluding no-parachute skydiving, suicide bombing, rock-diving.

Salt doesn't have any calories. Unless you have a medical condition such as high blood pressure I wouldn't worry about it.

I love my Fenix 3 HR and can't recommend it enough. *Not the boyfriend of @rainbowbow. Just another opinion.

Pretend to go to the restroom and then sneak out the back door.

Get something like a FlipBelt.

Skip to the part where you're already at. You don't need to start at day 1.

Don't set a hard-fast time limit for yourself. It's not as if there will be zero results and then suddenly... BAM! Instantly fit. You're going to gradually get back there. Within that month you'll be in a place where you feel like it needs work but you're not upset at yourself either.

That totally depends on what you call moderate and what you're doing for cardio vs. what you're doing for HIIT. I don't think you gave nearly enough information for someone to give you a good answer here.

I always heard that the incline should be on 1 to more closely simulate outside. I don't know that you should go any higher than that if you're trying to build endurance.

If only there were a weigh to tell if your diet plan was working or needed adjustment.

What? It sounds like she went home, took care of her dog, and was super dedicated to her fitness and came back to the gym even though she missed her class. Not sure how you think she's lame. Did you go with her to help her with the dog? Was the dog faking it?

4 - 5 pounds on a hot humid day is pretty normal. Just make it back up later.

There's far too little talk about being a vegan in this discussion.

Pffft! Naked is free. Clothes are just a waste of money.

The calorie burn difference isn't worth noting or worrying about. You're burning the same number of calories for all practical purposes. Sweating simply means you're hot.

I don't think that associating the wedding with the shame or failure is a positive thing for her. This is the worst idea ever.

To add resistance while running, just and more distance and/or go faster. Starting off? Well I don't suggest you add any weight at all and how far can you run already without stopping? Is distance difficult to find?
-
Distance walked, and your weight?

The best way to lose fat is a calorie deficit. Toning? Do you mean looking leaner? Try a calorie deficit.

Have you asked your doctor about this?

The Forerunner 235 does quite a bit without the size issue if that's a problem. It tracks steps, activities, and has the same HRM that the Fenix 3 does. It's quite a bit cheaper too. ETA: Same as the Fenix 3 HR model that is.

Compression shorts. Body glide works well but you'll need to reapply it every so often depending on how much you're sweating.

Mine ranges from 5k to 25k. Is that too big of a swing?

How do you feel about running a 5k or a 10k?
