Try an apple or orange. They have enough natural sugar to give you a boost, but enough fiber to make it a steady boost without the crash. Really any fruit is good!

I'm thinking the protein amount would be the minimum you should get. I re-set mine for a minimum of 100 grams. Rule of thumb: get at least 50% to 100% of your body weight in gram ( so if you weigh 150 lbs, you need between 75 and 150 grams of protein)

Nuts and seeds are absolutely a part of healthy eating (in moderation)!

It goes by percentage, so if your total calorie goal goes up, so does your protein, carbs and fiber.

How about trying an on line recipe for home made sauerkraut and cut the salt. Or maybe look up a low sodium recipe...there must be something out there! Maybe you could just saute cabbage in a pan, then add some vinegar.

The pics are a little deceiving, because the first on your pants are higher and tighter around the waist showing a slight muffin top. I don't know which is which, but keep up the good work! 6-7 pounds is a good accomplishment! You'll be looking ripped in no time!

Last year we blew ours up on the street with seal bombs! The next morning I was out cleaning it with a dust pan, hahahahaha! :devil: :laugh: worth it though!!!!!

We spent about $60. We get a lot of kids here because we do a big haunted house thing! My hubby will eat the leftovers, so glad I don't have a sweet tooth!!!!

I've seen that you should get from 1/2 your body weight to all your body weight (I weigh 150, so I aim for 75-150 grams a day) This seems reasonable to me rather than filling your whole diet up trying to get so much!

I know what you mean! I always pig out when I'm not feeling well! Fortunately it's not very often! Good for you for sticking with the soup. It won't do too much damage and it will fill you up!

I wouldn't drop your calories too low for more that 2 or 3 days at a time! It will wreak havoc on your metabolism!!! You don't want to go into starvation mode, it will just make it harder to lose weight in the future!

Are you getting adequate protein? This will help you stabilize your insulin levels, sometimes if your levels rise and drop it will make you reach for something sweet to bring it up.

Workouts are the best! I have my best workouts during that time...I feel so sluggish to start, but then I am surprised at how strong I am! Plus, the cramps go away!

Try fat free deli ham instead of the bacon, or turkey bacon. For the dressing, I like to mix orange juice with balsamic vinegar and maybe a little raspberry jam, some tarragon and a dash of Dijon mustard with just a little olive oil.

Hi! I totally agree with you on the feeling better thing! I have always eaten this way just because...but now I just started really tracking carbs and proteins to lose weight. I aim for under 100 grams carbs and 75-150 grams of protein. I'm having a hard time keeping my calories down, but maybe this doesn't really matter…
