I made my own broth soups. like coconut curry chicken. After the first week I threw canned soups in the blender and passed them thru a sieve into a little more broth. I loved whizzed up gumbo.

Do you have a Kroger? Kroger Carbmaster vanilla milk is great in coffee to make a latte. 11g of protein a cup and only about60 cals. I drink 4 cups a day every day-counts as water.

Mine just says BMR calculator, but I think it is thru Fitness magazine. You might try 3 or 4 and choose the lowest. i am happy at size 4. if i want to be size 2 i would have to stick to 1200 cal permanently to allow for some blow over and i don't want to.

it will slow the closer you are to the caloric intake for that wt at that ht and activity level. unfortunately that is the cruel truth. I am 5'5" 45 and sedentary. I aim for my BMR of 1360 per day because that allows about 300-400 of blow over cals to maintain my 146-150 wt. if I eat 2000 cals a day I will gain wt.

I am normal wt for ht now and I stick to 3-5 oz. That meal would be too many calories for me. At 800-900 cals a day during wt loss phase that would have been more than half my cals for the day. The reality of maintenance is you only get about 300-400 more calories than your active loss phase. Staying normal wt for ht means you basically get one more snack a day. Just remember to maintain your protein and vitamins to stay healthy. A few people in our WLS support group developed severe osteoporosis and other probs 8 yrs out after neglecting their vitamins.
