To the original poster, you will probably want to aim for 2400 calories on workout days... 2lbs a week is unlikely after your water weight is gone.. so ya..

Guys can't approach and hit on woman at the gym.. its definitely a rule.. don't be that creepy dude that doesn't do any work until a girl goes by a machine then he is all bicep curls on the leg curl machine. As for me, the gym is not a fashion show or a reason to wear the tightest shirts to check myself out in the mirror..…

Last I checked society doesn't force feed junk foods down our throat.. yet... we all make decisions on what to eat..
-
Fazoli's.. me and a buddy of mine would go there after working out.. eat a full pizza and of course a dozen or so of their breadsticks that were complimentary.. Haven't done this in a long time and I heard they tried to go healthy with their food.. so this was before that when they were dripping in butter and the pizza was…

I agree drivers should be mindful of bikers.. in the same thought it would be helpful if some bikers didn't ride like they had a death wish.
-
running only seems harder because your used to rowing.. one may burn more calories in the same amount of time, but both burn calories.
-
Stop calling yourself bulky.. the majority of woman are not bulky.. and if they are it takes years in the gym.. not running and eating sugar.. Gonna be real serious with this.. you gained weight and its not muscle, eat at a deficit and cut your bf% down to not be "bulky" or "Big Boned" or "Curvy" Your young, your bf% is…

Patience Patience.. at 5'8 you should be able to eat 1600-1700 calories.. you need to use a food scale (as you mentioned) on everything.. cut out the cheat days (Until you get your #'s in check) and eat atleast 120g of protein.. Every time you change, your body needs to adjust.. And currently with 7 weeks and your…

Use a food scale, log everything and have patience... and probably eat more..

Sounds good just a few suggestions Cut calories by 10-20% depending how far you want to get down (you can start at 10 and as you drop weight, reduce calories further as well.. so example you start at 2100 calories, lose 10 lbs, drop to 1950 or something) I wouldn't just cut from carbs, just cut it overall but keep your…

Looks like you were sold a bunch of bull to sign up for that training session.. 30 lbs the first month hey... Does that come with a refund? Doubt you gained any muscle, sounds like your not eating.. fat/carbs make no difference.. buy a food scale and start eating correctly for your activity.. Do a search here for TDEE and…

lack of satisfying meals for dinner the night before, and depending on the time you eat you can wake up hungry... Looks like you should eat breakfast those days.
-
as you said your eating that 1 number and no exercise calories.. if that is the case you need to give your body a few weeks to adjust before making more changes.

First, don't use a HRM for walking its inaccurate.. unless your walking 4 miles, your not near 500 calories.. Second, yes lower impact is adequate for weight loss, just takes longer to burn the same amount of calories as say HIIT or running.. You can always run behind the stroller with a steady jog.
-
Higher than the recommended intake for woman says who???? If you burn more calories you eat more food.. If you want to spend 1-2 hours in the gym daily doing cardio.. that is what happens.
-
Thread Closed.. Your skinny enough, lift weights and EAT.
-
So if you don't use 24 fl oz of ice cold water, but still chill overnight and it becomes ice cold does it have the same fat burning components? Buy a water filter to get your water to taste better and don't buy into all the crap.
-
No Glycogen is not permanent.. and if that is your picture you look way too skinny just from looking.. your 18 and 5'11, so your calories should be like 2000 if your moving around.. if your working out 2400.. plus your young don't hurt yourself early.
-
drink water, don't worry about it.. This is why low calorie diets don't work.. you just gained back what you lost didn't you?
-
Use 1 of the many calculators that are floating around here (links in just about every post), figure out your TDEE and take a cut from that (20%) or so.. and go from there.. Depending what you used to eat calorie wise, you may not feel hungry anymore.. that doesn't mean anything.. your past the listening to your body…

If your adding in Insanity your definitely moderate... getting to "look" better is about getting your calories right so you stop losing your muscle.. having a bigger deficit obviously ate some of that away so you don't want to have a huge deficit..

Ya stop eating 1200 calories, eat correctly for your activity and height/weight Try lifting some weights too.
-
At your weight and height yes you could probably lose 30 lbs. 1. Go to a grocery store and start buying your food 2. Buy a food Scale and start using it 3. STOP drinking your calories 4. More Protein 5. Walk 3 miles or 10k steps a day 6. Eat 1600-1700 calories daily no excuses, no more no less. Follow those and you got a…

1 week.... patience.

You cant trust everything on the internet, yet you come to the internet to find truth to it? Working out before/during/after breakfast has no plus side to weight loss.. its all preference.
-
Eventually your metabolism will adjust to 1200.. then if you eat anything heavy in sodium or go over your calories.. you will gain water weight and won't lose it. You wont have a body that is muscular looking (or tone or whatever) But hey.. do whatever
-
Eat for your activity level and start lifting.. or else nothing will happen.. Go comment in the what happens to eating 1200 calories forever thread.. cause this happens.
