  • They are second to girl scout tag along cookies though.... Just saying..
  • Your most likely being impatient. Since I know nothing about you and how much your eating/need to be eating, I would just say to relax and give it time. Unless your eating a ridiculously low number...then yes...eat more.

  • Excuse me....I need to go throw a bag of ice on my belly real quick. :indifferent:
  • I only have one girl friend and it's been that way for years. I don't seem to make friends with other women very easily. XP Our nights that we hang out always consist of drinks and watching movies of shows. Before we became such homebodies, we would find shows to go see at the local theatre, browse he bookstore, and end up…

  • XD Your not alone. Not that I have to worry about that at the moment anyways, but I always think about getting pregnant very negatively. Not that I don't want a child in the future, but I just think about all the progress I could potentially lose..
  • His argument makes no sense. Anything is better than nothing at all. You can make huge progress with just 2 days a week. He obviously just doesn't want to do it but doesn't want you thinking negatively of him not doing it.
  • I eat them as contributions to my daily calories. Why does it matter if you call it a meal or snack. If your hungry again soon after then eat something else that fits your day's macros. :P
  • http://www.simplyshredded.com/the-ultimate-female-training-guide.html There are many beginner programs on sites like bodybuilding.com. A lot of women like "The New Rules of Lifting for Women" book. Jamie Eason's Live fit is also another popular one. My personal favorite is the link above. Pretty basic.
  • Do you have access to another piece of cardio equipment? Find something you enjoy doing and it'll be easier. I hate running and can barely make a mile before quitting. I bike for my cardio because it's something I enjoy. Or do some sprints to get it over with quicker.
  • I got a velocity spin bike for about 300$. It does the job. If spin/biking is something you enjoy then go for it. Try to go to a store and try one out before buying one though. They aren't anywhere near the quality of the kind you use at the gym, but you can get some decent ones for the price in the 500$ range.
  • I used to just feel too awful to even finish my workouts or get any good lifts in. I learned to not be so hard on myself for taking an unplanned rest. I eventually went on lo loestrin pills which completely got rid of that time of the month so I never have issues with that now.
  • Real butter. No extra ingredients, and no substitutes.

  • I updated my diary settings to exclude sugar for that reason. My sugar is pretty high daily from certain fruits, veggies, and whatever treat I have for the day. I can eat 2 servings of fruit and my sugar will be around 70g from that with everything else. Like said above, unless you have a medical concern, don't stress too…
  • Unfortunately there is too much bad advice out there and articles citing how bad fats, especially saturated fats, are for you... Some are actually really good for you (such as what's found in coconut oil) and fat is essential in the diet.. As long as your getting your fat intake from good sources like coconut oil, nuts,…
  • You won't gain any leg muscle on a deficit. Most likely you are seeing the muscle more and more from losing fat...
  • They are food. Eat it and count it if you like it.

  • Nothing wrong with that. It sucks to hear it said to you, but there is nothing wrong with that personal preference.
  • People who pay too much attention to what everybody else around them is doing instead of their own workout. XP I'd much rather be hit on at the gym when I look my worst. Plus...can't blame somebody for trying to find another fitness oriented individual to date. Where else are you going to meet so many? I met my bf of 2…

  • I've met a few who were a bit on the heavy side. That doesn't mean they don't know their stuff though. I'd much rather hire a trainer with a body similar to what I want in myself. That's just personal preference because I would rather have a trainer who applies the workouts to themselves and have achieved themselves what…
  • There is no 'fat burning food'. Your not going to lose any fat unless your eating less and eating plenty of whole foods. Thats it.
  • My first job was concierge at the Marriott. I went and interviewed to be a server in the restaurant but he thought I'd be better suited for concierge. I basically just had to help oversee the concierge lounge and talk to the guests.
  • Well rounding up is usually safer. If it's only .5 off and the calories are listed accurate, it shouldn't really matter. You can always go in and add the correct version if you'd like.
  • As stated above, you need to increase calories. You need to build muscle which will require a small surplus of calories. You can't 'tone' flabby skin. You'll have to build up some muscle. Make sure your progressing and going heavy in all the compound lifts like squats, deadlifts, etc.
  • It's an interesting concept. I've often wished food didn't exist and that we would just take tasteless pills of sorts for our nutrients and calories. There would be no weight issues, food addictions, etc. Dosage would just need to be adjusted based on goals. Unfortunately thats impossible. Our food addictions would make…
  • It all comes down to end of the day calories and macros.... Stop overthinking things. Your not going to get fat because your meal had the wrong 'ratio'. You need to be hitting certain macros for the day, not for a meal. Just focus on balancing it at each meal.
  • You need to build muscle in order to have anything to 'tone'. That only happens with heavy lifting. I would suggest looking up a good weight training routine. Bodybuilding.com has plenty of begginer programs. A lot of women like Jamie Eason's livefit program on there.
