  • We are a unsweetened vanilla almond milk family.......Silk brand. Soy isn't an option since more than half the family is VERY allergic to soy. I don't drink it straight, but use it in everything. My kids drink it straight and don't mind it. They love when I buy the chocolate almond milk as a treat.
  • I have never had back pain from TurboFire before, but I used to get back pain from chasing my kids around when they were little because I would sort of hunch over to get closer to their level. Hope your back is feeling better!
  • It's really going to depend on which workout you are doing, and at what intensity level you are working out at.....taking breaks or going the whole time? There are a lot of variables that factor in.....
  • I'm another bodymedia fit lover.........I have actually had mine for 3 years now, and couldn't imagine not having it. It keeps me honest! I also have a fitbit ultra but I don't like it as much, especially since I noticed it counting steps while I was driving on some back country roads (which I'm on several times a day)
  • Avocados........Yummo!
  • 4 of my 6 have been on IEP's, when we were in Texas I had to fight tooth and nail, and it drove me absolutely crazy! Since the military moved us to Indiana (non military town) I have to say IEP's are a breeze. We really lucked out moving into the school district we did. Only issue I have now is that some of the GE teachers…
  • Avocados, Shakeology, and berries (any kinds, I love 'em all!)
  • I should also say that when I do my workouts I do wear HRM. If you have BodyMedia Fit Link or one with a display, you can go trip button, hit reset and you can see exactly how many calories are burning per minute and total for each workout. My BodyMedia Fit usually reads lower than my HRM for calorie burn, but since I base…
  • BodyMediaFit/BodyBugg are pretty much the same thing.....I have a BodyMediaFit and I love it. I have had it for 3 years now. It really opened my eyes to how many calories I was actually burning in a day, and I had to up my calories alot. It keeps me honest. I have the display for mine because I like the instant…
  • Thank You so much for creating this!

  • My Ob/Gyn also told me that cramping and intensity of periods can be hereditary also. My mom had horrible periods, I have horrible periods and my Teen daughter also has horrible periods.
  • First use one scale to track your weight journey. Scales can differ greatly so the best thing you can do is use the same one for consistency. If this is the end of your first week you probably aren't going to have gained 6lbs in muscle, your body is learning to deal with what is happening to it, muscles will retain water…
  • I like to run 3 or 4 days a week, and I did it while I did Insanity. I would suggest doing Insanity first, then running.... As for the OP, I didn't wear shoes at all. I found it easier to do barefoot.
  • ACTION REGION: FIRST ROUND (1) Die Hard (16) Goldfinger (25) Total Recall (9) Predator (28) Spartacus (12) Speed (20) The Great Escape (29) Platoon (30) Saving Private Ryan (14) Top Gun (6) Lethal Weapon (11) Dark Knight (26) Long Kiss Goodnight (23) Dirty Harry (18) Braveheart (2) Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark
  • I loved Insanity.....the best way for you to properly log it would be to invest in a HRM with a chest strap, or if you have a calorie tracking device such as BodyMedia Fit, so you can get your actual burn. The calorie burn can really vary person to person.

  • Ok thanks! Hope it isn't too serious of a kiddo emergency!
  • I just tried to find the group, and it's not showing for me......how do I get to it?
  • What flavor? I couldn't stand the greenberry, and new tropical is good, but chocolate is still my fav!
  • Cottage Cheese, nuts, beans and natural peanut butter could be some good options, also maybe add a protein shake, if you don't feel like eating anything else. There lots of options when it comes to protein, even some really tasty plant based protein.
  • I lost 40 lbs starting this time last year, and had kept it off, and just decided I could try for 5 more. I did it using a lot of the Beachbody workouts (P90X, Insanity, TurboFire and Chalean Extreme) I also like to run 3 or 4 days a week if I can find the time, and still like my Tae Bo. I actually scheduled workout times…
  • I would also say use a HRM (preferrably one with a chest strap) or if you have BodyMediaFit you follow that. Insanity is intense, and it's hard to gauge calorie burns with just estimations, Some people go all out, and others need to stop and take breaks, or go at lower intensity and that affects calories burned. I loved…
  • Love the attitude! I have 6 kiddos, one of which is special needs, and they keep me hopping and keep my energy up (though sometimes they completely drain it also! lol)
  • I have a son who will be 16 in June, who has what used to be considered High Functioning Autism, but is now a more bit middle of the road, and also has severe asthma and epilepsy. I also have another son who has Asperger's Syndrome. I have 6 kids altogether, and we are a military family. My husband is only home on the…
  • I know a few of these are programs you didn't mention, but I'm just going to give the programs in the order I got the most results 1. TurboFire (fun but intense cardio) 20 lb. weight loss 2. Insanity (fun also, but prefer TurboFire, better music, intense cardio) 10lb. weight loss 3. Chalean Extreme (strength and cardio,…
  • Insanity is a very intense Cardio workout (it will kick your butt! But I love it!) and P90X is also an intense workout, but it incorporates weight training and cardio. P90X workouts are longer. I liked them both, but I preferred Chalean Extreme to P90X. Insanity is also one of my FAV workouts (next to TurboFire) Did that…
  • I have had a BodyMedia Fit for 3 years now. I forget I have it on half the time, and most of the time no one really pays it any attention. Everyonce in a while I will get asked what it is, and not in a rude way. Don't worry about what other people think. When I have had to go out dressed for Military Balls I leave it at…
  • I don't sell it, I'm not a coach, and just sharing my own experience.......
  • I'm another Shakeology user......I love it. The Chocolate is fantastic. I love to combine it with a 1/2 greek yogurt and some unsweetened Almond Milk, put in a little ice and it's like drinking a milkshake. I do not like the greenberry at all, but the new tropical one they have is good also. I have not tried Herbalife, so…
  • YOU CAN DO THIS!! I just know you can. I gave up all sodas a few years ago now......When I first stopped, I would put money in jar everytime I wanted one, and after a while I saw how much I was saving and used it to treat myself to something I really wanted but probably wouldn't have gotten otherwise. For me I needed to…
  • No advice, but I hope your pup is feeling better soon!
