Ok, I am extra morbidly obese, I just hit 299, I am starting upper body workouts. How often do you lift? everyday? every other day?

I have been at work all day, walked 3 miles at lunchtime, now tonight after work I would like to do an upper body workout. Is it necessary to do a warm up before these exercises?

I'm trying to add different exercises and I found Fitness Blender! Some of the moves require you get on the floor on your knees and on your side, is it ok to add a little padding? My knees and hips aren't that great. Thanks in advance

Hi my workouts are in the middle of my 16/8 fast. Now I'm trying to get more protein in my diet. So my question is, Do you have your protein shake right after your workout or at the end of your fast? I use Six Star Whey Protein triple choc. calories 170 carbs 6 and of course protein 30. Oh I have in my coffee, YumYum.

Zumba & HRM calories burned???
I just started the Zumba Activate and it's 45 mins and my hrm is saying I burned 300 calories. I am 300 lbs and 5'6, it seems like I should be burning alot more, right?? I did Zumba Activate with stretching for 48 min, so much fun!

I did the Step by Step video, 65 min with stretching. I feel it today! But so much fun got into the steps a little bit more!:wink:

Right on Time!
I just go my Zumba Exhilarate dvds on Sat! I just completed the Step by Step video because I haven't tried Zumba at all just looking at the infomercials. Really fun! I will probably do this video again and then move on to the next video.:smile:

Zumba lovers I need your opinion
I really really want to try Zumba but I do not go to a gym or classes, it more convenient for me to exercise at home. I have never tried Zumba but I'm torn between getting the Exhilarate set or try using Zumba for Wii or Xbox. What do you think any feedback would be appriecated. Thanks:smile:
