Curvy girls who lost weight
Curious if after your loss, if clothing trends worked better on you or if they were still awkward. I know fashion seems to favor the less curvey, but honestly I want to able to sport some of the trends ... but not all look good on my current curves. So, speaking in terms of measurement and structure curves, not fat, when…

Stevia is awful
Last night I was trying to make a chocolate avocado (sugar free) mousse recipe I found on pinterest. I think if I had used the suggested sweetener it would have turned out. But all I had was normal sugar and STEVIA. The very small amount I use in tea (1/4 cup to a gallon, stevia in the raw cup for cup) is JUST FINE. But…

Is intense cardio better or just Heavy lifting for getting lean and toned faster? I know a lot of ppl run or do HIIT, zumba, kickboxing, etc. But there are others who say that lifting/strength training gets you there quicker. Should I focus less on cardio then? goal:

To Distracted?
"It is a sign of a dull nature to occupy oneself deeply in matters that concern the body; for instance, to be over much occupied about exercise, about eating and drinking, about easing oneself, about sexual intercourse." Better than JIF?
I see alot of people eat healthy nutbutters. i'm a jiffy girl, and finicky as a cat. I love JIF for its smooth smooth texture most importantly, but also the roasted peanut taste. When I tried fresh ground pb I was not a fan. oily, seperated, gritty. I tried soybutter to and almond butter and the flavors were not to my…

Round or Square?
So, at the moment, I have no scale. Digital one broke. (btw...if anyone can suggest a good scale i'm all ears. and dig vs old school) I have noticed that at one point I rounded up cals. I think that worked better, where as lately, in rationalizing to myself or try to feel better, I might under guess. I think rounding up…

Been here to long to ask this but....
ok, the cal goal it sets, that includes exercise, does it maintain a number like 500 deficit? example: if its set to 1200 I burn 500 & it goes to 1700 If I eat that 1700, thats still including the same 500 deficit right? so what it says is left over is extra cal burn right? numbers easily confuse me. I'm pretty sure thats…

Shopping is more fun!
Hubby and I went clothing shopping, he needed summer cloths. And even though I'm not 'at goal", I'm close enough. It is def nicer to go shopping when you can try on and pull off most everything…

The Annoying Calorie Equation
If I am counting "calories burned", and i'm dieting and exercising, should I only count the calories literally burned from working out, or both those and the deficit from the maintence via my diet. (meaning 2000 maintain and 1400 diet = 600 deficit) I don't want to over expect and be disappointed. I think online I've read…
