    Generally yes they put more stress on the arms and on the core. Just keep them up, it'll get easier. I do mixed planks to make sure I'm doing every type each workout.

    @enyagoboom YES! I thought I was the only one. I'm doing forearm ones for this challenge, and the shaking starts SO much sooner than when I do the high planks.

    8/1: 15 seconds
    8/2: 3 x 20 seconds - was feeling planky this morning
    8/3: 20 seconds
    8/4: 30 seconds
    8/5: Rest
    8/6: 35 seconds
    8/7: 40 seconds
    8/8: 40 seconds
    4:00/26:55 completed

    Yup, they're harder for me too. I can do 1 minute forearm planks, but it's much harder to hold than the full arm planks. Those last few seconds are pure torture right now.
