When a dude asks me if I need a spotter when I clearly don't... Like if I'm doing goblet squats or bench presses or chin ups. Why.
Also when I'm checking myself out in the mirror and there's 50 feet of mirror space around but the person decides to stand right in front of me... Excuse me I'm trying to check my gains.13 -
Person that picks up a couple of 20 pound dumbbells and stands a foot away from the rack doing dumbbell lateral raises, blocking access to 6-8 sets of dumbbells.14

I have a home gym. I have had public gym memberships in the past but the entire experience annoys me from packing my clothes to driving back home. There isn't anything I like about it. I have no problem using my home gym which is an elliptical 2 days a week and dumbells 3 days a week, 30-40 minutes each day.11

Idk if this is everywhere, but there are people (definitely this one *kitten* who does this at my gym) ...they decide 2 leave their stuff on a chest bench like it's a shelf 4 them ..their phones, water ,shirts & then they walk off & do their workout on machines not even near their stuff ....So I guess no body else may wanna use the flat bench (I would be liar 2 say the temptation of taking all their stuff & throwing it in the garbage hasn't entered my head) .....13

People that sit on machines on their phones taking selfies...*kitten* off im losing gains.16

I would just remove there stuff and go about setting up for my workout..... but thats just me!

What annoys me is when people stop there workout to have a chat with other gym uses; after you have asked how many sets they have to go... grrrrr!3

People who don't clean the machines down after their workout and slightly off topic but people who stop for a chat in the middle of the small swimming pool the gym I used to go to had, the pool is for swimming not chatting aaargh7

Agreed!!!!(Now ya got me going!) This same guy loves 2 yell at the gym ....I mean yell ,like across the room 2 his buddies...Now I go at 430am & this guy is yelling *kitten* like "Yoooo Bro let's do Triceps now! Yeah!!! Feeling the pump bro! Wooooooo!!!" ....Now meanwhile I've got my headphones on & they're pretty loud & I can hear him through my music....We got some new people working out there & u can see their look of shock like I think they think someone is arguing & they're staring like "what is wrong with that guy" (every morning)8

PMSL......i would start making some of my own noises and see how they react.4

Hmm here's a few:
- People that do curls in squat rack
- People doing pull ups in squat rack (There is a specific area for that)
- People leaving a puddle of sweat at the bench.
- People talking to you on cardio machines
- Extreme grunts. I get some grunts & huffs & puffs but I mean, come on, no need for those super loud ones.
- Chatty people blocking certain machines & racks, like 2-3 guys & gals chatting more than working out.
- Leaving weights on, on racks and walking to a different section, doing different moves.

Guys who go 2 the gym & ya seen them out in the gym not doing anything, but sitting, talking, looking at their phone (although they have whole gym attire & bottle of water so they look legit) & then take over the bathroom & wanna talk about the Super Bowl while they're naked ....U didn't even break a sweat! What are u bathing???7

I hate it when I am trying to work out and a bunch of speedo clad maniacs start a fight and destroy the gym in the process7

^this. Do NOT, get into the fast lane and spend 20mins chatting to your mate in the slow lane across the divider blocking the turn at the top of the lane for everyone else!
Edited to add: and these are the people that complain when the pool is 'too cold' - no, no it isn't, you just aren't moving! It was 32 degrees the other week and I felt sick, but loads of people were saying how lovely it was - it was a bath!!0
