I think somebody might just tell your mom about this.
Somebody on here knows my wife. That's my real problem.
She's suspected for years that I might not always sort the recycling...
in certain parts of austin, you could be arrested for that.0 -
about 13 years ago I had bought a new car. I only had it for about a week and decided to stop at the bank to deposit my cheque. I walk to my car and begin to put the key into the lock. "Why is it not going in?" I think to myself. I then look into the back seat and see a child sitting there looking at me. Whoops.....same colour, looked similar, but wrong car! I slowly back away and then swiftly walk towards what was actually my car. Glad the parent didn't come out thinking I was trying to steal their car. haha2

I confess I took someone else's car after having mine resprayed. A Ford Escort Mk II (UK) I was in town with friends, went to the car park in the rain, got in, started it, drove it round to pick up my friends who sat in McDonalds staring at me and when I went in they pointed out 'this' Escort is the wrong colour.1 -
I confess, after hearing *again* from my mother that my family is excited to see me because they've heard about my weight loss and that they are proud of me... I am incredibly nervous about showing up and still being fat and disappointing them. 70 pounds lost is a lot, and it's awesome... I know that. But I can't help but feel like they'll see all the work still left to do and not all the work already done.1

I confess I bite my tongue a lot. Figuratively speaking.3

You see that. They won't. Trust me.1 -

Haha, funny that your key worked.
I also dropped my brother's car off to have a car stereo installed. After it was done, I picked up the keys and got into the car. The door was unlocked and figured they just left it unlocked. I put the key into the ignition but it wouldn't turn. I then noticed it was a manual transmission. Turns out it was the same car, same colour.0 -

They'll notice all your hard work. Most importantly though, be proud of yourself and keep focused on your goals.0 -

Walk in there with confidence knowing you look better with 70 lbs gone and everyone will see how great you look now. If they focus on what you have left to lose, they are just trying to get the focus off of their imperfections.

Gurl, you just need to walk up in there like you own the place! You've worked hard. Own it!Strivetobebetter76 wrote: »I confess, after hearing *again* from my mother that my family is excited to see me because they've heard about my weight loss and that they are proud of me... Thanks y'all... It's hard for me to see it because unless I'm looking at the pictures I still see me + 70 pounds in the mirror. I know these people love me and there's only one that would say anything negative to me at all. And I also know I probably won't even be noticed while everyone is processing their grief, but still... Irrational though it may be, I'm still really nervous about their reaction. Ugh.0 -
