Geez talk about weight fluctuation! Today I weighed in at 159.2, a full 4 lbs higher than 8 days ago, up about .5 lb a day every day. Not even sure why, but I know it's a pattern for me. I hope it goes down before the bar on Happy Weight turns back to red. I much prefer seeing the green trend! This too shall pass...
Have a good week and don't let the day to day get you down!12 -

Successes/struggles of the week: As I keep saying, I'm on a mission to move to the lower end of my maintenance range. According to my Fitbit and my food logging, I have had a fairly consistent daily deficit of about 300 in the last month. Meanwhile, Trendweight has been all over the map, initially showing a daily deficit of over 600!!!, and then letting that fall lower each and every day - ha, this morning it decided my deficit was just 150!!! Anyway, I figure I'm either due for a weight loss whoosh soon, or I need to start considering that my new heart rate Fitbit is overstating my TDEE, hopefully the former! Have a good week y'all, what's left of it!8 -
Name: Faebert
Age: 39
Height: 5’6
Total Weight lost: 47lbs
Time it took to lose: on and off 3 years. First 30 in 4 months and then gradually reduced goal weight
How long in maintenance: 10 months
Maintenance weight range: 115-120
Average weight recorded from 2017 (12months): 121
Average weight recorded from February: 116.25
Week of 2nd March: 117
Week of 9th March: 116
Successes/struggles of the week: Stayed on track with morning workouts and hip is improving after my fall in the ice. But I’m under a lot of pressure with work and busy with family stuff. Feel like I’ve been trying to do it all and yesterday the wheels came off a bit. Going to try and get some rest this weekend although with a birthday party for my daughter followed by a sleepover for the 9 year olds at my house tomorrow that may be extremely unrealistic!7 -
Name: Jen
Age: 46
Height: 5'2.5"
Total Weight lost:145lbs
Time it took to lose: 2.75yrs
How long in maintenance: Since 4/14/17
Maintenance weight range: Would like to stay under 122 at morning weigh-in.
Jan-Jun 2017 avg weight trend: 124.4lbs
Jul-Dec 2017 avg weight trend: 119.2lbs
January avg weight trend: 118lbs
February avg weight trend: 117.9lbs
Trend week of...
23rd February: 118.2
2nd March: 117.8lbs
9th March: 118lbs
Successes of the week: Another good work week, and good with food at school, but then keep losing my mind and allowing myself to keep going over at home.
Challenges of the week: Was in less pain this week, but feeling weak. I suspect I took in too many fluids and was hyponatremic again. Seem to be doing better now, but am thirsty after cutting my liquid intake. Workouts went pretty well, though. I may be blowing it as far as food goes, but I will pat myself on the back for fighting for the workouts despite feeling tired and whiny. Go, me!

Name: Dalon
Age: 36
Height: 6'2"
Total lost: 220+
Time to lose: 2 years
Maintenance: 8 months
Range:trying to gain slow weight. goal 190, then reassess.
Trend of March 9th: 177.2
Successes: Learning the skills that will hopefully help me to keep most of my weight loss off and improve body comp. Lifting hard still.
Challenges: Trying to be less worried about needed weight gain. It's just crazy. Also still macro hording for night time snacking, not going over, but not healthy. Coming to the realization that if I regain too much weight, it will be weight loss surgery for me. I don't want that!

Success/struggles of the week: Did a photo compare and measurement compare against my stats when I was averaging 117lbs. - look about the same in the photos and my measurements show 1 inch gain in tummy but everything else (chest, thigh, arm, hips) stayed the same.
That news doesn’t incentivize me at all to reduce back to 117, so I changed my range to 122-128 with a goal to stick around 125. No sense heeding progress in recomp - if I look almost the same, certainly some of this weight gain is muscle growth from my diligent strength training. If I find the measurements going out of whack, I’ll reassess my weight range and strategy again.
Doing better with mindful eating. Enlisted the DH for help with accountability. He’s a good drill sergeant when he needs to be - “you know neither of us need that cookie!” Lol. I love him so much. I also set a hard and fast rule about no food after 7pm. That should help with my new late night grazing habit, too.
Good luck everyone! Keep going strong!

Success/struggles of the week/month: My avg bounced over my line in the sand last week. Very difficult in maintenance (more so then when losing) to cut back calories. Feel like there is a little devil whispering in my ear that I "NEED" those extra calories so I can run faster. Hahahaha.. Anyway, it's all a learning experience. I can step back and see why in the past I have yo yo'd all the time. Spring is sprung here in Tx so expect to have longer daylight soon and more activity. HURRAH - made is to the spring equinox without a HUGE gain.9 -
@psychod787 Actually, I have an addiction to potassium salt substitute and a tendency to drink up to a gallon of fluids some days. That's enough to screw with my sodium balance. Happens to me every few months or so, though it's been a good while since the last time and it caught me by surprise when I got so tired this past week and felt that breathlessness and flip-flop feeling just above my stomach.2

Success/struggles: Finally! After three weeks my weight budged. I don't know how or why now exactly, but it has. I noticed it during the week in how my clothes were fitting, but 4 lbs in a weeks IS kind of drastic. I've been doing the same as the three previous weeks: eating well and working out consistently. Maybe I was retaining water?Whatever, it's a shift and I'll take it. Glad to finally be back in the middle of my range!11 -

Successes: stable weight, got 2 jogs in this week, had less coffee machine drinks. 35,000 steps in the WEEK. Easier to get exercice on longer, milder days
Struggles: want to lose 1.6 k, (or 3.5 lbs) to be at maintenance, but I've been stable for at least 3 weeks. average weight loss over 7 weeks, has, with this stable spell, levelled off to 0.9 lbs per week. I'm loathe to cut back. I may just try to stick with it and see if WL comes this week. If not, next week I tweak, probably avoiding eating AP.5 -

I am just starting maintenance this time around, which I hope will be the last time I have to go through that. Mu success this week is joining this club. I am not adjusting to maintenance calories yet; I want to very slowly lose a few more to give me a bigger cushion. Instead of a set range, I have an absolute upper limit. BMI < 25 is the line in the sand. 164 is 24.9. I am 163 now.12 -

Success: returning from trips and getting back on it. Listening to my pt person. Finding some joy in elliptical. Rededicating myself.
Struggles: sitting at the top of my weight range for too long. I definitely do not like this feeling. Too much alcohol on the weekends and not being settled has been difficult. 1 more month of this and then it gets a little easier.
March plan: focus focus. Getting all caloric burns before 12 and not waiting to do it later cause later sometimes doesn’t come. More diligent tracking and no snacking.7 -
