today i am grateful for the bonding experience of motherhood. the experience gives us moms a commonality from which to begin a relationship. I'm meeting a lot of "new to me" moms with my child attending a different school this year.0

Grateful for my brother. Some people don't get along with their sibs, or even talk to them - I can't imagine how that must feel. It's good to know that there's another person in the world who's got the pieces of our history I sometimes forget, and has my back no matter what. He has also turned into a pretty cool person.0

Today I am grateful for a good book to read and second chances.0

I am so very grateful for spending a weekend with two lovely young ladies from another family. They are aged 12 and 10, and so well behaved. of course, with 4 "tween" girls we had issues, but, overall, we had a great time and i would enjoy having them back. i will also enjoy a full night's sleep tonight, LOL0

i feel the same way about my two sisters. Lucky for us, our mother is still alive, but i know when she passes, we will be each other's "rocks" She knows this too, and it give her great comfort. win-win0 -
Today I am grateful for beginning to get a handle on my food regime for deficient spleen Qi. No cold food, no ice, warm whole foods. One step at a time...0

Today, I am grateful that:
Even though I made a bad choice for my first meal today, the rest of my meal choices were very reasonable.
I did cardio today.
I am in good health and am in the maintenance stage of fitness, but know that I will always be a work in progress.

Today, I am grateful for my "arsenal" of health care professionals. Pain woke me up at 3am, but i am grateful to have so many avenues of assistance to employ. I believe I'll start with my favorite yoga teacher, and go from there. Happy Friday, everyone!0

Good Morning 68myra!! You are up at this time doing yoga? I just got up on put a pot of coffee on. Been out of my sleeping pills for three days now. Finally got my prescription in yesterday afternoon. I'll have to go get it filled today so I can sleep all night and not wake up every hour looking at the clock. Had such a great workout yesterday. I go to Great Life Gym on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Sunday is my free day. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I walk 5 miles. When I go to Great Life I ride the bike 10 miles, then go to the weight machines and do 8 different machines. Just started that this week. So I started out with 20 pound weights, so I wouldn't get so much pain. I did 2 sets of 30 on each machine. Accept there is this one were you lift up until your elbows are right at my head. Gosh!!! That was very strain full. Well I'm going to go weigh on my Scaledown scales and have some co0

Today I am grateful to have had a second interview for a job I want. It went well but it was a live video conference and couldn't help be think "they look so young". Hopefully they didn't decide that I was "too old". Had good rapport with two of the three. Hope I'm wrong about the third. Won't know for 2 - 4 weeks.0

That's a tough few weeks, for sure, I've been there. Stay busy I hope you get it, gaylebodine
I'm grateful for this thread, bc it reminds me to think about things to be grateful for
Also that it was an absolutely gorgeous day, and that my knee (which has been acting up during workouts) didn't complain too much, even over a couple of long walks.0 -
