I am new here and this sounds like a fun challenge. My goal is 300 miles but I may be off anywhere from 0-50 miles in either direction.

@shanaber - the downside was it was freezing, like 39 at race time (hello I live in Alabama) and the wind was about 25 mph and in your face more than half the distance. The upside was everyone there was awesome, we had the best time, I finished in 59:34.1, 2nd in my age group, 27th overall. I never thought I'd break the hour mark so I was very happy. There was a kid there, 7 years old, finished 3rd, he ran UNDER a 7 min mile pace for the whole thing! Thanks for asking.

Good luck for November, everyone. I'm in for 150 miles again.
@Fabnine @LoneWolfRunner @SonicDeathMonkey @Stoshew71 and everyone else with big goals, lead the way folks!
    11/2 - 17.40 (10k race/slow run home after that)
What about you with a goal of 150? Those are some big miles too! AND you raced a 10K then just casually ran another 11 1/2 miles home. That's just so awesome!!!

    300 miles? [swoons] My hero...

Last month was absolutely shocking for me, time to lace up my trainers again and get some miles on the clock. 85 miles is the target for November... Let's do this!

    1/11- rest

where on earth that run came from I have no idea. I thought all my goals this month would be challenging and I have done three first time out. Did 7km in 53.04.

    Goals:
    1. Run 100km in total
    2. Increase distance to 8km........ :)
    3. Run/walk Interval of 35/1min
    4. Run for 1hr................................ :)
    5. Run 7km in 54min.................... :)
    6. Take part in a fun run
    7. New PB for 5km (37.56)
    8. Establish PB for, 1km, 1mile.

    1. 2/11 8km 62.59min 20.30/1

That is a great accomplishment to be 2nd in your age group! Congratulations!!
Awesome race for the 7 yo too! Maybe that is how his parents tire him out

I ran my 10k PR in a race in Seattle with my daughter. It was an out and back and was raining and cold. For half the race the rain was blowing in your face and the other half it was just cold and wet! Pretty sure I ran so fast because I was just so cold!
    2. Congrats to all who raced or ran in crappy weather. I was on the treadmill because it was cold and yucky.

      11/2......7.5 miles.....total=11.8
