November Running Challenge

I am new to this challenge, but would like to join for November. My goal for the month is 65.0

I ran what my run group leader calls a "mega" mile at the track yesterday. It involves bleachers on each trip around the track. We actually did 6 laps so I guess it was really a "mega" mile and a half. GPS on my Nike+ said 1.7. Not much toward my goal, But I'll get out there today and run again.

To the ladies who asked, my marathon was so fun! Because of the ridiculous wind and hills though, I decided to go the smart route and run it easy since it was my first and i didn't want to run out of steam. Struggled to make myself do anything at all today so I'm happy with a quick one today

I was out for the month of October, but I am back! I ran 4.5 miles today, and 3.5 on Saturday. Think I will set my goal for 60 miles this month.

Okay, let's try this again. My first half marathon is in a few weeks. I am setting my goal at 65.1 miles. That includes all my scheduled runs, up to and including the half. After that, I'll figure out what I want to do next.
November 2, 3.1 miles (5K Race), 32 min (my worst 5K race time, stupid asthma)

My Sister in law did her first (& she swears last!) marathon on Sunday too. I'm thinking about doing a half next year sometime.

I did a time hill challenge yesterday evening which a group of us started doing as a monthly challenge to see what improvements we've made, the weather was so bad last night that most of us were slower than we were last month which was disappointing.

I was where you are now in July. Just wanted to say good luck and keep going.
I ran 5 miles on Sunday so it can be done and is its very addictive. Especially when logging every run here.0 -

Nov 1 - recovery from Halloween party, did basically nothing all day...lol
Nov 2 - Work day/rest day
Nov 3 - Walked the dog / strength training (just starting this again and all my
muscles I worked out hurt.)
Nov 4 - 8k trail run with the dog.0 -

Slow to start this month, my running partner bailed on me twice. So far for November:
11/1 Nothing
11/2 Spin
11/3 Treadmill for about 2.25 miles
Never used a tickler so I hope this works.

I will someday learn how to make the ticker thing a reality. But for now will declare another 100 mile goal, but hoping to get north of 110 due to the favorable calendar layout. A 5 weekend month, cooler weather and mornings where I can see my feet land if need be should pay off (as long as no health issues crop up).
