I agree! I want to take back my post!0

Ban the term "New Years Resolutioners" - get off your high horse and let people at least try to get started. So what if they waited until the new year? People complain about the NYRs because they want to subtly point out that they are good all year around.0

Agreed... I mean, everyone has to start somewhere, right? Isn't it good enough that they're finally making the effort?0 -

This thread may (or may not for that matter) been initiated in jest...but I am seeing a lot of smugness and arrogance, in that people feel there is only one way to lose and maintain weight loss, and any deviation is not to be tolerated.

You're "faceless," also.
Yes, and so am I. I'm not too concerned about losing any credibility on these boards, merely due to the fact that I decide not to show my abs.

Once upon a time I saw a play about scientists researching menstruation (not the weirdest play I've seen, or even close) and the program had a bunch of euphemisms used in various times and places. My favorites were "the English have arrived" and "there are Communists in the funhouse." (TOM requires less explanation, though.)0

Wow. The worst euphemism I've heard was 'the elevator from The Shining,' but those two are up there. I've never liked TOM, I don't mind if people write it out. Just seeing TOM in all caps bothers me. Like there's some guy named Thomas just going around making life harder for ladies.0 -
"Lol, no", "just no", "idiot", etc
In response to an accurate factual statement that could have easily been verified by a two second Google search.

I prefer "The Crimson Tide" myself.
"Visit from Aunt Flow", usually makes me laugh.0 -

"I need more friends!" and when you check their profile, they have 500+ friends0
-
"Like" (as in, using it in every sentence, e.g., "I went like, what? And he went like..."
"It is what it is" - this phrase does not make any sense to me (Sounds defeatist)
