Yeah, I get it about the "lifestyle" and "Journey" thing, but the word "diet" still automatically means to many people the restriction of food as opposed to the whole of your eating. I don't feel that I am on a diet, but I AM finding a way of life (a lifestyle, if you will) that is healthier and sustainable. Oh well. I don't like the traditional "diet" mentality, so I avoid that word, I guess.
Anyway... talk about words that bug me? "Cheat" or "cheating" in reference to food. For some reason, it drives me CRAZY. Just don't even.0 -

^^^^^ No.
Just no.
"Clean" and "moderation" are both words that I wouldn't miss if they never popped up again. Neither one means anything, but they're always repeated. I don't expect they're going away any time soon, though.
I hate the "just no." most of all. So obnoxious!!

Gluten free
As a person with diagnosed celiac disease, seeing someone proposing going gluten free as a fad way to drop weight gets on my last nerve something fierce. Those types make it very, very hard for those of us with a legitimate medical issue to be taken seriously.
Also? VEGAN. As a trendy weight loss thing. If someone is vegan for ethical reasons (I'm a vegetarian myself)? Great. Doing it to lose weight? Go away for 2015.

There are sooooo many:
Journey, lifestyle change, just break up, HELP!!!, loosing weight, "it's not a diet", "clean eating", "sugar is evil", "sugar is not evil", "you don't find time, you make time", "how do you find time", "calorie is a calorie", "a calorie is not a calorie", "it's just one day, log it and move on", "You can't have cheat days", "You can't make up for cheat days", "sammich",... etc, I can't even list them all.
Pretty sure I sound like I wished people would just stop talking hahahah. It's not true, I promise. But it does seem like it.0 -
