How did I forget my most hated phrase of all, "TOM"? TOM is a acronym that should have been banned years ago.

This thread is making me crack up. If we had it our way, there'd be nothing left in the boards except the chit chat threads :D

"blah blah blah the person above you"

Can we ban threads that have 'the person above you' in them?

    Wow.

    Just wow.

    Uhhhhhh...

    Ummmmmm...

    ^^^^^ No.

    Just no.

"Clean" and "moderation" are both words that I wouldn't miss if they never popped up again. Neither one means anything, but they're always repeated. I don't expect they're going away any time soon, though. :)

Some people report having a physical reaction to eliminating table sugar and other high carb, low fiber foods. Are you saying they are mistaken - or lying - or just stupid? If you've never experienced a negative reaction to eating sugar, count yourself fortunate. Your body is working optimally, no doubt. But is it reasonable to deny that the insulin-ghrelin-leptin-dopamine pathways can be compromised in some individuals?

So if recomp is ban. What do you call lose fat and keep as much muscle as possible since you can do that with no scale change?
    Getting in shape?

It's just an annoying-sound word, not sure why. When someone says "I'll start a recomp..", I hear, "I should be lifting weights now, but i prefer cardio".

Yeah, "bulky" is bad. Stop that.

    Other ones...

"Fitspiration" - you know, those posters that look like Nike ads. Not all of them, just the extreme ones, like "You haven't exercised hard enough until you need physical therapy".

"Anyone have any secrets for ________" - usually the answer is a calorie deficit, or some similar non-secret.

"Anyone heard of (new website or product)?" - usually thinly veiled spam by someone with 0 posts.

"Lean muscle" - all muscle is lean, by definition. Just say "muscle". Or "lean and muscular".

    Thanks for playing. B)
