I had the birthday cake one. It was ok. Tastes more like snickerdoodle. Just not very filling for the calories again.
Hmm, I may try the snickerdoodle one tomorrow, then. Kinda been underwhelmed with most of the cookies so far. I'm hopeful about the protein bars, though...oatmeal chocolate chip is my favorite cookie so I'm hoping the Quest bar isn't too far off the mark.
I really want to hear your opinion of the birthday cake bars! Hopefully it'll be better than MusclePharm. I love MusclePharm, don't get be wrong, but their birthday cake combat crunch bar tasted like lemons not birthday cake -.-
As for the cookies, I'm the one who reviewed the birthday cake flavor previously. I found it filling, but I guess each person is unique and I did cheat by having half a scoop of protein powder blended with almond milk with it so my stomach was pretty full. I loved the cookies, haven't tried any other flavors yet! Very good texture, much more moist than Lenny & Larry's in my opinion. Hopefully you like them!
I'm finally reporting back on the Buff Bakes! I tried the birthday cake one this evening, and I really liked it! Reminds me of Oh Yeah One birthday cake bars, which are my favorite kind of protein bars. So far I prefer this to most of the Lenny and Larry''s cookies I've tried, with the exception of the lemon poppyseed.0 -
I love all of their powders EXCEPT for the cookies and cream which to me tastes bitter. I noticed that's their only flavor with erythritol but this new flavor also has it so I think I'm going to hold off until they have sample packets available unless someone else reports back with something extremely positive

I really enjoy Glutino's English muffins, but nothing will quite replace Denny's gluten free English muffins those things are really good! The lil buff bakes cake mix is also gluten free
just picked this up. Oh Yeah! is also releasing a pumpkin protein bar as well.
That's actually some of the best news as far as food I've heard all day!!! I bet they'll master it I can't wait to try it! I also look forward to that red velvet halo top ice cream! All they need is a pumpkin and cotton candy and I'm set! X)
Speaking of pumpkin, I picked this up and wasn't impressed, especially for 300 calories. Too sweet and heavy on the clove, plus it kind of had that artificial pumpkin flavor to it.

The Kind bar I'll have to eat another since I ate it when I was hangry & just wanted to shovel food in my mouth without really caring about the taste.
I also really enjoyed the new Reese's Big Cup with Reese's Pieces.
They have pumpkin spice and mint chocolate in the Think thin? I only got the bites. PB is pretty good. Salted caramel is okay. The chocolate almond brownie is meh. They are all, like you said, a bit dry and waxy....but at least it's protein.
My husband didn't like the honey BBQ almond kind bar. He said the first 3 bites were good, then he had this horrible BBQ aftertaste with the last half. He likened it to dipping one of those Lance peanut bars in Sweet Baby Ray's. Lol
Eww! I forget which store I saw the discounted savory Kind bars, but those bars were definitely not on my list to try.0 -
Tried the snickerdoodle buff bake cookie! 10/10 I LOVED IT!!!! I think even better than lenny and larry. I loved the addition of the icing. It was a lot smaller than the lenny and larry but very dense. I would buy again0

Oh, I love the Thai Chili one. It has a salty/sweet/spicy thing going on with a nice gingery taste to it.0 -

Eating Quest Lab's new mocha chocolate chip bar now and I love it!!! It's soft and sort of gritty almost like coffee granule texture with huge mocha chip chunks and such a nice flavor! Tastes like a jamocha almond fudge milkshake from Arby's or the mocha cookies & cream milkshake when chick-fil-a sold those before the frosted coffee. 10/10 my favorite! Just kind of strange the ingredients doesn't include coffee... Hm, maybe that's "natural flavors"?1

My local Metro (Ontario) started carrying Walden Farms products. So I pretty much got one of each to try.
First on the tasting table was this peanut butter spread thing. Peanut butter it is not, but it does have a slight salty / peanut taste. The texture is more of a thick pudding. On its own its no peanut butter but it will do well in sauces and in cakes.
I only heard horrible things about this!0 -

My local Metro (Ontario) started carrying Walden Farms products. So I pretty much got one of each to try.
First on the tasting table was this peanut butter spread thing. Peanut butter it is not, but it does have a slight salty / peanut taste. The texture is more of a thick pudding. On its own its no peanut butter but it will do well in sauces and in cakes.
I use PB2 for baking and sauces too because it's not that great as just peanut butter. Great idea! What else did you get that you are going to try?

Same, and I'm still skeptical about the calorie free claim. I'd rather it have at least 5-10 listed so I can track SOMETHING, I doubt if I eat five jars of these (figuratively speaking) I wouldn't gain anything. When you're in maintenance every little bit counts so these products frustrate me >.<0 -
