All these Kodiak cake oatmeal posts got me craving their pancake mix so I mixed it according to how you normally make Lil Buff Bakery cakes (on their website; egg whites, almond milk and applesauce in the microwave) and then topped it with a recipe they have featured for frosting with only whipped cream cheese and Greek nonfat yogurt. It was so satisfying and so much cheaper than their mixes haha I keep going back and forth with that company, I love their mixes but they're so expensive and this works just as well!2 -

I went to the Natural Products Expo East this past Friday and Saturday and go over $400 worth of samples, so I'm going to be posting a lot of stuff over the next week or two...
This stuff is delicious! It's a dry powder mix that you add cold liquid (and kind) to, mix with a hand-mixer until it whips, and freeze. It seriously tastes better than most ice creams that I've tried!
I've tried a lot of Kombucha, and I have to admit that even though White Rose sounded like a weird flavor, I really liked this, the main difference between Brew Dr. And other companies is that they brew the flavoring herbs alongside the caffeinated tea during the initial brewing, instead of steeping them during the second fermentation like most companies do.
I tried the plain from this company and really liked it. I'd never tried almond milk yogurt before, but I think that I like this even more than coconut milk yogurt. The flavor is closer to regular yogurt, and it doesn't have that same gumm-y, artificially textured aspect to it.
The company selling this had a panini press and was making grilled cheese sandwiches to sample out. SO good! My coworker and I seriously couldn't tell the difference between this and actual mozzarella cheese. It's kind of expensive, though. ($8.99 MSRP)
This tasted so much like a traditional carrot cake that it was hard to believe that it was made of ground flax. My only complaint was that it was a little skimpy on the frosting.
We loved these! The ingredients were so simple, and the whole frosting is based using coconut oil. There really aren't many other natural, ready-made frosting options on the market. Plus, $5.99 SRP isn't too bad!
These were my favorite bars out of all the ones I tried. They're based using chickpea flour and are entirely vegan, but you wouldn't be able to tell by tasting them. Both the brownie and the blondie were really rich, dense, and fudge-y.8 -

I also tried that one for the first time recently, definitely one of the best in my opinion.1 -

1. Oatmega: any flavor that isn't brown chocolate-related (like Raspberry/White Chocolate)
2. Raw Rev Glo Bar: Peanut Butter
3. Kind Bar Nuts and Spices: any of the >5g sugar varieties0 -
As far as protein bars - I like the Cliff Builder mint chocolate. Definitely one of my favorites.1

Wal-Mart should have them stocked with the regular candy, but it's near the Greeting Card section.
Also bought White Twix, the Snickers Hazelnut, Midnight Milky Way (I know this one isn't new, but I never tried it before), & White Kit Kat.
I LOVE the Milky Way Midnight Dark. I haven't had one in forever...1 -

I was tempted to, but after reading this (http://www.brandeating.com/2016/09/review-starbucks-pumpkin-cheesecake-bar.html) I decided there are better things to spend my calories (and money) on
If you try it though, let us know what you think!0 -

New Halo Top flavors on the horizon?
Please keep us updated, this I would be VERY interested in! 360 seemed high at first compared to what I'm used to with them, but then I remember Englightened ice cream pints and that's not bad!
I do have some insider information that I can't reveal, but what I CAN say is that they have a few things up their sleeve.
All these Ben & Jerry's pumpkin posts are killing me I REALLY hope some of these things up their sleeve consists of a pumpkin pie flavor, red velvet, and various others xD
All I can say is that I am VERY excited!
Not even a hint? Do you realize how hard this is!? Can you at least give me an idea of how long I have to wait until I find out???
They are planning on releasing in a couple weeks!
UPDATE: Halo Top is releasing TEN new flavors VERY soon.
Oh wow. Well sadly I should probably skip them unless they change the formula.0 -

I'm in love with Kodiak cakes you guys it's bad. Did anyone ever find their pumpkin dark chocolate flavor minute muffins? I see them online but I never saw them in the stores
My local Shaw's has been carrying the pumpkin dark chocolate minute muffins for at least a year. I remember I bought one for my sister about a year ago and she loved it. I always check if they're on sale so I can buy the chocolate muffins, so I know they still carry that flavor.0 -
Got the Blueberry Muffin Quest bars yesterday and I loved them. There are bits of something kind of graham-cracker-y and bits of blueberry.3
