Calorie difference? Is it as many (or more) calories than cow's milk? Also... this ice cream you make... please do share the recipe! ;P
I think the oat milk had 90 calories per 8oz (1 cup). I'm not sure of cow's milk calorie amount because I don't drink it.
Here's my recipe/process for making the protein ice cream:
I use a Ninja blender.
I start with a bunch of ice..enough to just cover the tops of the blades. Blend and turn it into snow. Scrape it down and add 60ml (1/4 cup) sugar free pancake syrup and about 6 oz of cashew milk. Blend and scrape. Add 3g of xanthan gum and 28g protein powder. Blend and scrape. Then I do a splash of sugar free/calorie free syrup(vanilla or hazelnut flavor) and blend until it becomes big and fluffy. I usually top with a dash of sea salt, sugar free chocolate syrup, and some more sugar free pancake syrup. Crunchy toppings are awesome too...toppings are endless!
I love making this too! I bet it would be awesome with some of the skinny syrup flavors like birthday cake, caramel cheesecake, salted caramel, dark chocolate truffle, etc. @hgycta I am surprised you never have made it. Have you seen the photos in the volume eaters thread? It is like having a HUGE bowl of soft serve. I highly recommend trying!
No! I don’t really follow all the threads I’d like to on here, there’s too many I’d never get off the computer if I did!!! This is the only thread I’m loyal to
Happy belated Easter and happy earth day everyone!!!!
I found those hazelnut M&M’s at Walmart. Not a fan they grow on you the more you have, but they’re really not that great. The peanut butter and the caramel M&M’s still have them beat by a landslide as far as I’m concerned!

Agreed! I found them in the self-checkout area of Giant... didn't think they were that great. I also tried the jalapeno M&Ms and, surprisingly, quite liked them.

Updated: tried the fruity and chocolate as well. That makes almost 700 calories in cereal today, lol no shame. The chocolate was not good at all. Tasted too much like bitter chocolate protein powder. The fruity one was too lemony for my liking. I really liked the frosted and cinnamon the best.DonutEatThat wrote: »RelCanonical wrote: »DonutEatThat wrote: »Noreenmarie1234 wrote: »skelterhelter wrote: »Oh man... I normally HATE dairy free pints because they usually taste weird or have too much pea protein, but I just tried Enlightened’s cinnamon bun dairy free pint and it’s AMAZING!!!!! You’d never be able to tell it’s dairy free, and they don’t ruin it with pea protein (sorry if anyone here actually likes that, but it simply tastes like grass to me). This stuff is possibly even better than the regular dairy pints! Very sweet and perfect texture, it’s the first Enlightened pint I didn’t need to thaw! 10/10! Soooooo much better than Halo Top’s cinnamon roll pint - not as heavy on the stevia, just very sweet and very flavorful! No chunks but it actually didn’t need it!
Yes, their dairy-free pints are so good! The cinnamon bun and mint are the best of the bunch.
I have been wondering how their dairy freee compares to halo too because I really didn’t like the halo top ones,
[img]https://us.v-cdn.net/5021879/uploads/editor/zz/bla5kb1ybim4.jpeg[/ I was curious how these would be and didn’t have high hopes. But I LOVED the frosted and cinnamon ones. I haven’t tried the others yet. They were dusted almost reminded me of the donettes cereal a little. The dusting was light and sweet. However, once you put milk in, it didn’t stay on, so I didn’t like it with milk. It is the perfect dry snack though.[/img]
The cinnamon was also delicious. This one was good both in milk and dry. Nice cinnamon sugar flavor. Not as sweet as Cinnamon Toast Crunch, but like a little less sugary version of that flavor.
They are good for a snack instead of a protein bar. 1c has 220. Calories and 24g protein. So I would have in place of a bar.
If only they could make cereal with 20 cal per cup that tasted good, then I’d buy stock in that !
The link didn't work. What are these cereals called?
Here's the corrected image:
Interesting! I've been craving low carb cereal. Did you buy these in store or online?
Someone posted them in here and I found them online!
How much did you end up spending?? @Noreenmarie1234
The 4 pack variety pack is $39 and shipping is free if you hit $50
I spent more than I should have . But to be fair.... my bf let me use his credit card and said it could be my easter gift.
Best Easter Gift Ever!! Eating healthier is always more expensive, unfortunately.2 -
The Dole Spoonable Smoothies. I saw something about them on Facebook. I Googled them and much to my surprise, they’re only 170-180 calories each. I think I’ll give one a try once I see them in Walmart.2

Anyone try this flavor? Might eat this as my Easter treat.
Happy Easter everyone.
I tried this yesterday. It definitely had a lot of lemon flavor, but didn't find it all that sour. I'm sure you can find this really cheap at Walmart now.2 -

I actually placed an order. I made it through all but one of the 6 bar box (I still have the double chocolate to try) so did a mixed box of what I tried and liked (coconut, raspberry, and double chocolate - I'm assuming I'll like it ) and the ones I still needed to try (vanilla, raspberry, and strawberry) just for the 2 bar bonus banana chocolate creme!2 -

Not new but I had the egg version of Hershey good bars. Everything seems to be better in egg form... Reese’s etc
They were even BETTER than the bars which I LOVED! Because they are thicker, there’s more pretzel chunks and flavor. I didn’t really notice the pretzel flavor in the bar. You could see the big chunks of pretzel though.

Oh, I meant salted caramel for the other one I needed to try. Not the raspberry...duh. If I get the order before they're gone (*grumblelimitedtimegrumble*) I'll get right on it. I just tried the double chocolate bar today too and it was a solid choice to reorder.
I should really buy an easter egg or two to commemorate easter (and they're on sale). My go to would be the reeses but I just outed myself as thinking it has too much peanut butter. I did buy chocolate covered marshmallow eggs/bunnies from Target a couple weeks ago tho.
CVS was ALL OUT of leftover easter candy last night already. Sheesh!0 -

I have a 5 off built bar code off if you need one. You can use on any account, lol. Just let me know and I can send you it!
I wasn't planning to buy candy today but......all the candy was $1 per bag so I just had to buy Hershey's gold and my favorite Reeses eggs.0 -

LOL too late on those Built Bucks but thanks! I jumped on buying a box after seeing the post/email about the new, limited time flavor.
It's pretty hot here today so, if I make it to actually take lunch, I may do my Target walk and see what they have. Damn, $1 a bag is GOOD.1 -
Found the Chocolate and Peanut Butter Lover’s Reese’s in Target today. As a huge Reese’s fan, it’s no surprise I love both.
The chocolate lover’s honestly didn’t taste any different than a dark chocolate Reese’s cup, it didn’t look like it had more chocolate or anything, just a higher cocoa percentage.
The peanut butter lover’s thankfully did live up to its name and had a wonderful peanut butter flavor, and it reminded me of the Reese’s Swoops that I used to be obsessed with years ago before getting discontinued! I’ll get both again! I was expecting the chocolate lover’s to have a higher ratio of chocolate to peanut butter, but I’m not disappointed because I love both parts anyways!

Cado Avocado lemon frozen dessert was interesting. It's very creamy like ice cream. The predominant flavor is lemon, and I couldn't really taste avocado. It seemed more like a sorbet in terms of taste but with the texture of ice cream. This was pretty good.

I’m glad you reviewed this because I’ve seen it and was on the fence... do you think you’re going to try any other flavors??? What were the calories like for the pint?0 -

This was the only flavor that I saw at my store. I'd definitely try other flavors if I saw them though. I'd be interested to see how the other more traditional ice cream flavors taste since this one was more refreshing and like a sherbet. It was 170 calories for a 75 g serving, and I believe 4 servings in the pint so 680 for the pint. Not very low calorie due to the avocado, but not terrible.1 -

Tops (I think it is called Giant in other areas)
@hgycta too bad they didn't have the PB lovers at my store, I would be all over that! I am a huge PB lover and always think there is far too much chocolate in my reeses. I need to try now that I know it's good!2 -

Bit of a late response, but it was like cinn-a-stack pancakes with churros on top. Nothing baked into it.1 -
Not sure if anyone posted this here yet?
I found this a few weeks ago at Giant & if it fits in my calories I'm going to try it tomorrow.6 -

I have to say, I ordered the sample box couple weeks ago and got through all of the bars. I just cannot take the texture. They all have the same exact gooey, chewy texture I cannot get past. Coconut and caramel taste good, but the texture... mehhhhhh. Definitely not a re-buy for me.
That texture's a god send for me these days.4 -
