Spaceballs is about as unoriginal as the horrible modern parody movies such as Meet the Spartans, Epic Movie, etc. That said, I did enjoy Spaceballs for what it was. I'd just prefer to not see it again. Oh, did I mention that this is just my personal opinion? Because if I don't mention that, someone will say I'm asserting my opinion as though it were factual.0

I felt I needed to confess. I know everyone loves Spaceballs. I don't hate it, but I certainly didn't like it very much.0

You might be an alien. Quick, what are your thoughts on Blazing Saddles?0 -

Sigh I hate to admit it but it crosses my mind too. And I was that person 3 years ago, who am I to talk? I guess part of it is that if *I* managed to do it, considering that I don't particularly like exercise and LOVE food, I can't help thinking that people are just using excuses not to lose the weight. And sure, I don't work, so I have time to exercise, but it means I also have more opportunities to go to the kitchen to snack, which is my downfall... so yeah.
And it makes me feel like a horrible person. Although while we're doing confessions... I don't think I'm a very nice person. I'm too brutally honest, I guess.
My confession for the day is that I used the excuse that I had a small breakfast to visit the new all you can eat Sushi/Japanese buffet that opened here a month ago. And I probably ate 1300 calories of food, although there is no way I'm logging every single bite, and that's with showing a lot of restraint. I wasn't even 'full' when I left. Should still fit within my calories though, somehow.0 -
Confession: I burned 1200 calories today and will be drinking all of it back in just 2 beers tonight.0

Never seen it, but I'm confident Brooks is a capable writer when he actually gives his works care and attention. I've caught him a few times on Conan, and I do find his insights fascinating. I'll have to get back to you on Blazing Saddles, though.0 -

*raises hand meekly* maybe it seemed unoriginal because you watched it in 2015, after having seen all those other parodies.
May the Schwartz be with you.

Confession: I've found out that when I weigh myself the scale shows a lower number if I hold onto the wall for balance0

People talking about any sort of MLM scheme makes me actively angry. Like I feel genuine rage in my heart. One of my friends actually uses one of them (Nutragenix?) and it pisses me off just to think about how much money she flushes away.
Another: After all of the work I have put in so far, I also confess that I feel judgy of people who claim they have "tried everything and nothing works for them" (like my cousin who asked her doc about gastric bypass and she isn't even that overweight). Eating less and moving more would work for them, they just don't want it enough or aren't willing to learn how to do it properly.
Even at my highest weight, I knew exactly how to get rid of the weight. I just didn't want it badly enough and I knew that. I never once blamed anyone or anything but myself for being overweight.0 -
Oh my fabulous, awesome thread!
I worry that I'm not normal, I seem to be able to hold more food than anyone else. Large pizza, garlic side, nacho side and tub of ice-cream for one to go! And don't start on buy one get one free offers at pizza restaurants.
About eating things out of jars with spoons, a spoon of peanut butter is wonderful after being dipped into dried milkshake powder. Banana nesquick peanut butter anyone?
No matter how many pelvic squeezes I do, like most women I can leak a little when I sneeze or forget to clench... I also have to admit to having... erm.... pooped a little during running once when I first took up jogging. Now I'm starting c25k again I'm making sure the loo is handy
I would judged everyone here though who hasn't bothered washing their kit after working out, but as I shouldn't/ am not allowed, I shall just keep on judging people who don't even PRETEND to take a towel to the gym with them to wipe down machines.
I'm likely to get a little money when my ex sells the house, I know I should save it for when I have children, but I'm seriously considering a touch of plastic surgery or an epic tattoo. Well, that or a retail business but that seems too sensible.
I will eat half of a packet of biscuits then put them back in a way they look untouched, then practise my innocent face when my OH decides he feels in the mood for them and discovers my evil deed.
I did buy an expensive packet of almonds, even though I know we have to pay for the car right now, I just wanted them. They're behind the porridge. *
I have spent cash I can't afford on diet pills / drops / tablets, even though I know they won't work.
I google celebrities heights and weights as a comparison even though it makes me feel like eating.
Thanks! Oh and as I'm new if anyone wants to add me, I'll be chuffed.
*ps I am hiding the expensive protein powder behind the sofa.0 -
I had two dinners out with friends booked in for this weekend but then hubby got sick with the flu and I had to cancel both of them. Was secretly really happy that I could still keep to my calories and not go out socialising ...0
-
I'm dying for the WOOSH to happen... the scale has gone from 207 to 210 in the past 6 days and I KNOW I've been on point with my food. >.< Chugging water like no tomorrow and chalking it up to running on the stairs and using my resistance band yesterday. PLEASE WOOSH, COME TO ME SOON!!!!0

There is no excuse, you have to decide it is time to lose weight and do it and not talk about it.0 -

It isn't easy but you do have to make a commitment and stick to it. Can now run up to 3 miles where before I couldn't run out to my car.0 -
Totally love watching B-movies on Netflix, death & destruction kind where the world is going to end & bad acting will save it.0
