Yep, same here. I had to move my seat forward once I'd lost a fair bit of my huge butt
Same here. I've had to move the seat closer twice, then I had to recline the seat back because apparently my butt was sticking that far out.2 -
I was able to achieve my goal weight years ago. (I'm currently trying to lose the weight again.) One thing I noticed was that when I looked into the mirror it would scare me. I looked like a different person. I was so used to seeing the old me. I didn't like how my face looked, long and thin. I eventually got used to it, but there was a month or two where I had some real issues.14

Your body will chose when and how to lose the fat... the result might not be to your liking...
Currently my shoulders need an M, my boobs an XL and my stomach an L. Finding shirts that fit and look decent enough to wear to work is horrible. If I don't want stretch, I need to buy wide enough for my twin arguments. Then the shoulders seem to float in meters of excess fabrics and I look pregnant. So I have to buy stretch. If I buy shirts that fit my shoulders, my twin arguments look twice as big because of the fabric stretching taunt over them and I still look pregnant since my stomach stretches out the shirts too....
I'm feeling horribly frustrated right now.
Reason more to lose more in the hopes that at least my stomach will shrink. I can live with the oversized arguments14 -

Omg. ^This! I cannot wait for this to happen for me. I've had to wear biker shorts under all my skirts and dresses for years now to prevent chaffing, and those lightweight summer fabrics tend to cling to anything but legs. It looks ridiculous, and I'm constantly having to pull my skirt down when I walk. My thighs are probably the chubbiest part of me, even at goal weight, so it's gonna be a while before I get there. I'm determined, though!

Hihi... well it is what it is
I actually wouldn't mind them melting down to a nice, standard D cup... then maybe I might even start finding affordable bras again...3 -

I think that was the most pleasant of surprises I had last summer. I was only down 20 or so Kg, but it was enough weight lost to be able to wear summer dresses without the annoying biker shorts.
Rubbing some body oil into my thighs probably helped heaps with feeling better3 -
-A pure happiness and burst of energy after a good workout
-Changing your mentallity from loosing weight to gaining strength/muscle
-That its both super awesome to get complaints but also extremely akward when not being used to attention.
- Seatbelts are not your enemy anymore!
- People wanting you to relax and take it easy when you are still focused on achieving goals. "relax a little, eat a cookie"
- Not scared of weak/small chairs at restaurants or at friends places.
- Waking up and getting dressed for work is a joy rather then a dreaded event.
- People's reaction. Can be good, and bad. Not everyone will be happy or supportive. Or even decent human benigs for that mater.
- Questions for advice, rarely followed or appreciated when they learn the truth.
- "yes it takes effort, there is no magic pill."
And as a reference iv lost 51.5kg (114~) Still got some to go but shifted sight on gaining strength and not caring about weight.31 -
No longer just getting through a Zumba class, but actually enjoying it. Feeling like I am able to really dance and move. Feeling full of endorphins instead of exhausted pain. Getting to the end of the class and feeling like I could go on for another hour or more. Still get a bright red face though .27

I'm not sure how I feel about this one: I must have graduated to the "Not Fat" designation in stranger's minds. Today I had to show the owner's daughter, who has never met me, what I do at my job. She sat with me for two full hours. Our conversation wandered to recruiting and hiring people, and she mentioned something to the tune of "No company wants to hire fat people." Wow - I wanted to tell her that just 6 months ago I weighed almost 225 lbs. Now I weigh 178 and I carry the weight well so I probably look closer to 160-ish. But she NEVER would have said anything about "fat people" to someone she considered "fat." I think I will always be fat in my mind. And I'm not sure how I will feel when I am at my goal weight and someone who didn't know me when I was fat talks about "fat people." Just a mind-bender today.50

I'm so disturbed by that.23 -

Wow. I find that disturbing.
I mean, discrimination happens, yes, but to say it so blatantly to someone who (I assume) she doesn't know EXTREMELY well is chancy at best and foolish.
Mind bender for sure.20 -
Down 84lb and multiple changes of wardrobe! Now have so many clothes to sell that are hardly worn that I need to have a garage sale or something. I've bagged them all up out of sight out of fright at how much there is!
Just discovered http://threadup.com// You can sell your gently used clothing there and purchase clothing at unbelievably low prices. Thinking of treating myself to a few new things soon (and in a smaller size to boot!).3 -

Yes - I had never met her before yesterday. She is from a different country but has lived in the US for many years. I know that fat discrimination has happened for a long time but to have someone say it directly to me is just hurting me on so many levels. I'm not sure I will ever forget this, and maybe I shouldn't.24 -
Having your husband hold your hand everywhere you go, because he's so proud to be with you.
He still did this before I started losing weight. It just FEELS different. It feels deserved. To someone like me, who has always had body image issues regardless of my weight, this is huge....35 -

The owner's daughter ... Not cool.6 -
I'm cold almost all the time! Rn, I'm watching TV with my kids, who are dressed normally, while I'm wearing yoga pants under my jeans, 2 pairs of socks, and a shirt under my hoodie. I never expected this!10

How much harder it is to lose 8 lbs at age 40 than it was to lose 30 lbs at age 34. It's literally taken me the same amount of time to do both.21

You say your brain hasn't caught up, but the same goes the other way. I pass my reflection in the mirror, and I can't believe I am that overweight. I know I am, but my mind doesn't see myself as fat as my reflection confirms I am..32
