I am not able to work out due to medical reasons. Exercising usually helps my motivation in other areas. I have to change my goals so that don't overexert myself, but also don't completely waste the day.
1. Drink a lot of water
2. Complete at least 4 items on the to-do list of 7 items.
3. Do not sit for longer than an hour straight. Get up and walk around.
4. Eat when hungry, but make healthy choices.1 -

I hope you feel better soon, Michelle! I'm just starting to be able to exercise again so I know how that feels. You have great goals for today!0 -
I love this thread! I have been in program before but for substance abuse and reading "Just for Today" has been so beneficial to me!
Thank you for doing this.
Just for today:
I will not give in to eating because I am bored.
I will be encouraged by saying positive affirmations to myself.
I will let go of the past and all the terrible things I have done to myself and my body.1 -

Welcome! Sometimes I have to take things an hour at a time. I also have things in my past that I struggle to let go of so I get it! I love your goal to let it go... It's all a person can do. One foot in front of the other, and just keep moving forward! Always move forward. Glad you are here!2 -

Had a great day yesterday! I woke up thinking how badly I didn't want to go to work. By the time I left, I was saying "Thank you Lord for letting me have a good job. So many people can't find work!" May sound corny to you, but it worked. I focused on the gratitude instead of the "poor me" and it worked all day.
So today my goals would have been and still are:- Journal every bite
- Make healthy choices
- Increase water
- 5000+ steps
- Make the best of every situation at work today
- Make someone smile
Tracie in WI1 - Log everything and make good choices
