Spent the light in the ER with my daughter - attempted suicide. I got home at 4:30 am, they kept her in overnite. She is now home. I am exhausted, emotionally drained. Just trying not to comfort myself with food - as that only makes things worse. Just asking for prayers - the holidays are hard, as my father passed away on Xmas Eve, my brother passed away on Thanksgiving, another brother on Jan 2, and then having to watch my beautiful daughter struggle with life. But I have to count my blessings, and you guys, my dear supportive friends, I am so thankful for.
So my list today is simple
just for today, take it one minute at a time
be thankful for what I DO have
And -- I am so thankful for the wonderful, supporting friends I have found on this site.0 -
Oh Joan, I'm so sorry that you are having to deal with so much. I am praying for you and your daughter. Please promise us that just for today, you will take extra good care of YOU!0

Kept within my calories but did not eat healthy meals. Eaten sandwiches for lunch and did not eat much at dinner. Will have something light before going to bed.0

Joan, you have my prayers and support, and i'm so very sorry. I've been in your shoes, and it sucks. The only thing i can imagine that would be worse is if the attempt gets completed. there's nothing that can prepare you for hearing your "baby" say they want to die. there IS hope though, and i sincerely wish for you and your daughter to find something that works to get her through this as quickly as humanly possible! hugs to you, and as Bri advised: take extra good care of YOU! one minute at a time.0

Just for Tuesday,
1. physical therapy appt
2. lunch out with dear friend
how does one classify a 1000 calorie meal 3. don't overeat at that lunch4. dinner out? (fundraiser for sports program) ORDER SALAD
5. middle school band concert (avoid "refreshments")
6. smile and be grateful
30 min is better than none7. take an afternoon walk
1. resist the urge to punish myself for yesterday
2. under 15 grams of sugar for the whole day (nope, that is not punishment)
3. PT/foam rolling
4. take a looooong walk and lift tiny weights
5. plan a healthy dinner
6. drink a lot or water or herbal tea or both

Today I picked out an angel card, and an attitude adjustment card. I haven't used them in a while.I am concentrating on being loving and Beauty.
If you have Inner Beauty it will shine out.May your heart be touched by joy today.
I had a fine day yesterday, but ran out of time for writing cards. So:
