    I didn't see the thread back in 2015, but my heart breaks for you. It hurts. No lie. And divorce, even when it is the least bad option, is still a really rough patch of road. Sending energy for strength and hopefulness your way.

    Attraction based on bedrock inner qualities is attraction that lasts. Appearance changes over time, so attraction based ONLY on that may not withstand shifting sands. Attraction that ends after 5 months of marriage -- what's going on with that? Six years is a long time to sort it out, and I'm hoping you can leave a painful past in the past and look to your future with optimism. :flowerforyou:
