Or I could try something really crazy and just buy the chocolate ones.
yeah but why would you do that when you have the plain ones already?0 -

I just saw my doctor today and she is very concerned about my iron. It's a very big issue. But yet you all just wanna make jokes and go off topic. Whatever. I'm out of here.
Really? I gave you a list of acceptable alternatives for getting your iron from cold cereal. You made no mention of any of those. There are some great foods on there that taste wonderful.
I also suggested you pull up your big girl panties and learn to eat the foods that are GOOD for you instead of searching for childish alternatives.0 -

Good point. Do the plain ones taste anything like the chocolate ones?
Only if you coat them with steak...
(and I can't believe I just read through this entire thread)0 -

I think instead I'm just going to go with eating Kix.
But do those taste like Lucky Charms?0 -

OMG if there were a box of Trix in the house I would so eat the entire thing. Thank goodness there is only this meme, to make me only dream of it.

I bet you they'd still taste good0 -
I like the trail mix idea.
Cut up a banana and eat a piece with a handful of cheerios.0 -
You're all wrong. I still haven't seen the right answer.
Fruity Pebbles or GTFO0 -
Regular cheerios are great. Plenty of sugar in the milk. If you don't like them, don't eat them.0

MMMM love plain Cheerios. The Apple Cinnamon ones are pretty good too. Hubby loves the Honey Nut. I'm sure it also helps us to love Cheerios because we live in Buffalo, where Cheerios are made. Our city smells like Cheerios :-)0

Chex honey nut0 -
I like mine with coconut milk! Usually the unsweetened vanilla variety. I try to avoid sprinkling them with sugar (SO good, not so healthy though) but the coconut milk is sweet enough and still low in calories!0

I still can't get an img tag to work for me. What about sour gummy vitamins? Who doesn't like sour gummies?0
-
Am I missing something here? Cheerios are sweet already, sugar is the biggest ingredient after flour. Who on earth adds sugar to pre-sweetened cereal? Is there a different recipe outside of the UK or something?0
-

Maybe food-based solutions aren't the answer. Get a Mirena IUD and reduce your monthly iron loss. I bet that will at least cover the difference between regular and Honey Nut Cheerios.0
-
I'm just wondering what OP's diet looks like with all this cereal, but no milk/dairy because calcium impedes iron absorption. Where are all the non-iron nutrients?0
-
This is still going?
I say just dont be a wimp and eat the dang cheerios. If you have to mask the flavor of the food, why eat the dang food?!?!0 -
a kid will eat plain cheerios gladly, but grown-up whines that they're not sweet? cmon now. why don't you eat food that naturally contains iron, not as an additive? Body will probably get more out of it that way. or, supplement - problem solved0
