Very rarely seen it used...0

Not seen it often ngl.
Probably the words; calories, macros, exercise, weight loss, 'loose' --> that one really grinds my gears "I need to loose weight".

Brits use it here because they say that instead of "while" when they talk out loud, it's a cultural difference. I've rarely seen anyone from North America use it.0

I guess I'm being a little over sensitive... Maybe toms here soon. XD-2

I've seen some pointless threads whilst (see what I did there?) I've been here.
This has to be the worst.

Absolutely not. hardly ever see it. Do you have a problem with it? Probably deficit, calorie or loose.0

Yep, "whilst" is British. It used to grate me when I first came here, but this is after all an international website, so just accept it!0 -

Whilst is more formal speech, and probably more commonly used by Brits.
Lose & loose are 2 English words which are commonly (here, at least) misused.
lose = to not have "I want to lose weight"
loose = not tight "my clothes are loose now"

For most overused words here on MFP?
journey
loose (instead of lose)
cleanse0 -
Whilst is used here in Australia aswell. But more by the hoity toity folks.
Loose instead of lose
Weight instead of weigh
Weighted instead of weighed
all grind me0 -
I'd think detox is one of the most commonly (and abused) words on MFP.0

Thank you for the introduction of "Briticism".
That's glorious in every conceivable way.0 -
