I LOVE cottage cheese. My mother always added some sweet diced canned pineapple mixed in or diced vibe ripened tomatoes with coarse grind black pepper. I slice a papaya or cantaloupe in half, scoop out the seeds and fill it with full fat cottage cheese and sprinkle a touch of organic brown sugar on top.

The Hungarian way, sprinkled with a little sugar (or artificial sweetener) and rolled up in a crepe. Add berries or jam as desired.

Sounds a little weird but I love it on top of a rice cake with a slice of fresh tomato!

With turmeric, cumin, and hot pepper sauce (preferably smoked hot sauce, or add some smoked paprika if plain hot sauce). Sometimes with cucumbers and cherry tomatoes added to the preceding mixture. (And I'm talking robust, like at least 1/2 tsp each of the spices, and maybe a tablespoon of hot sauce, per 1/2 cup of cottage cheese).

Blend it smooth with a packet of hidden valley ranch Fiesta Ranch. Use as a veggie dip, add to wraps, use as dip for pita chips. Great protein packed snack.

Good timing for this thread to come back up. I usually get Friendship 2% Pot Style (the orange one) and it's delicious. But food shopping last night they didn't have it, and it's hard to find another brand that has a 2% large curd. The tub I got instead isn't good, but I'm stuck with it.

I'm going to have to make stuffed shells with it. Or pancakes this weekend. I could probably mix it with powdered sugar for a crepe filling....

ETA: Found a recipe on Pinterest for alfredo sauce. Really?
    Ooh, twice baked potatoes.
    Flatbread with herbed CC spread.

I will have to try this one!

Like a lot of the posts, I like it:
    * as a pancakes - blend 1/2 C cottage cheese, 4 egg whites, cinnamon, 1/2 C Oats, sweetner of choice and/or coconut oil, vanilla (my 13 year old eats these plain & cold!)
    * with pepper & Litehouse Salad Herb Blend (freeze dried in spices section). If you dump it in earlier, it has come to life by lunchtime
    * blended with diet jello (dry) and pour into cups. Lemon is pretty tasty
