You might be a bit cuckoo....did you know this. (haha)0
-
Hehe, I may have suspected that already. I like to see how people react to different situations, including myself. It's cool to learn what affects you and what doesn't.0
-
I guess so. You are a student of life...and slightly cuckoo0
-
Lol, I'm okay with that. Honestly if I wasn't a bit off my rocker, I probably wouldn't hold anyone's interest.0
-
I'm good at rockers.
Haha. You're like wtf?!?! It's a turn in skating.0 -
I don't know much about skating
0 -
I know lots0
-
That's pretty cool. My hobbies and interests are mostly computer related0
-
I figure skate and bake. Haha. Not really hand in hand things0
-
Pretty diverse interests. Would be cool to somehow combine the two0
-
Someone say skate and bra?0
-
Good thread! I was a bit... confused about all the other chit-chat topics. I'm always up for a chat0

Howdy from Irving TX, single mom to 11yo daughter, i've always worked out on and off but this is the first time of been very consistent with it and joined a running club in July and it has proven to be very therapeutic for me at this time. I have been suffering for depression for years so I want to get back into feeling better about myself the hard part for me is not the exercising it's the food especially sweets and sugar are my downfall. I workout at fitness connection and at the YMCA my first 5K will be the turkey trot0
-
After your first 5K you can't wait to do another one!0
-
I've done a couple of 5ks and I've waited. Haha maybe had I actually trained.0
-
Hopefully one day I'll be capable of doing one0
-
Do you like running? I've decided I'm going to be a runner seems like it might be fun0
-
I've done so many I lost count. And yes, preparation is key0
-
I have bad arches, so I need to lose a good amount of weight before I can do any significant amount of running. Right now it's murder on my feet.0
-
What about getting orthotics. I have screwed up everything.0
-
I have special insoles, but it still hurts to run. I think once I drop 30 - 40 lbs it won't be so bad. I walk 2 miles each way to work and back as of now, and I can do that without too much foot pain0
-
Well that's a lot. You'll work up to running I'm sure. all in due course0

Dude you can do it. I started running when i had 90+ lbs to lose. Start small, be consistent and persistent. You can do it. There is a runner in you!0 -
Someone actually recommended that book to me today. I get bored reading though0 -
Whenever I try to run I am reminded of how much my body can jiggle. Makes me sad.0
