With respect, scarification seems to be a "trend". And a lot harder to undo than a tattoo...be very sure of yourself and the brander, if you choose to go through with it. Scars "earned" will always be more meaningful, than scars you pay for, IMO....

I confess that I feel unwelcome here these days. But maybe that's a good thing.

And that's where not giving a flying *kitten* comes in hand. What matters is the people who care and want you here. I'm not everyones favorite cup of tea and I'm okay with that.

I think you'd look great with a W on each butt cheek.. bend over..say WoW

    true story:

BB King's wife got her husband's initials on her backside and was very proud of the end result.

When she showed them to her husband, BB King, he asked her: Who's BoB ?

...okay, I might have made that up.

I confess that I was surprised at how beautiful some tattoos are -- the design, the color, the thought that goes into them. I thought a tattoo was along the lines of a Tasmanian Devil that you get on your chest when you're a senior in high school, or that barbed wire thing around a bicep. But in the last few years, I have grown to really appreciate them.

I think water colour tattoos are beautiful

I love water colour tattoos as well - I'll get one of those next. I had planned to get a tattoo as part of my 'bucket list' before I turned 40. Then things fell apart for me and I spent 3 years comfort eating. 6 months ago I finally got myself together and have gained lots of muscle, fitness, self confidence and lost 15kg. I'm half way to my goal. I celebrated by finally getting a tattoo (see profile picture). I spent months looking then my husband suggested the one I got and it's spot on. Got my kids initials on it too - if they change their names it has to be something with the same first letter.....lol. It's on my neck so when my hair is down at work nobody knows I have it - I feel oh so bad!

Damn all this talk of tattoos and I miss it! I'm gonna get something musical on my wrist. Then get a huge piece on my left shoulder blade to my shoulder and quarter sleeve, all music related.

I confess dinner is super late because I was talking to a tattoo artist which delayed my workout, which delayed cooking dinner. Mom/wife fail.

I confess that I really hate the way my face looks now that I've lost 55 lbs. It's aged me in so many ways that I never expected, and I was already kind of goofy-looking. Now I look goofy AND old... meh.

The last few days, I have missed writing poetry even though all previous attempts in my past at this really sucked.

I feel that way everyday, but I still keep posting. I said before this place can feel like high school with all the cliques. I may not be funny enough, pretty enough, whatever, but I will still make my way into any conversation.

Do what makes you happy. You know there are a select few that will have your back no matter what you decide to do.

I confess I am one pissed off *kitten* this morning. Already short staffed and our resident slacker calls in sick. I'm the one with auto immune diseases and I don't call in sick near as much as he does. Now I'm struggling to get this server built by the end of the day. I hate *kitten* lazy *kitten* people!!

Hang in there! Sorry you're having a rough day already. I don't know *kitten* about building servers, so I can only offer encouragement & "immoral" support.
