I hope it's okay to post weekly totals instead of every day. It's easier for me that way.
Week 1: 63,529 steps; 26.1 miles
My cousin just started her weight loss/fitness journey, so we're walking together a few times a week and checking in with our personal challenges each day. It's incredibly motivating.0 -

9521 steps today, 4.1 miles. Worked in the morning, shopped for dinner (parking in the furthest corner of the lot each time), walked downtown, made a special dinner for my daughters & then drove the oldest home to Cal. These Berkeley round trips are killing my walking! Gah! I'll do better tomorrow...0

Late to the game but I am in!0

Was shooting for 12 miles today along the Ice Age Trail, but ended up at 11.2. I picked the wrong shoes to go out hiking and my heel got rubbed kind of raw. Runners say that on race day, you never wear anything new and that applies to hiking as well. These were a pair of shoes I rarely wear for anything beyond going to the store or short trips. They obviously aren't good for longer distances or at least, hiking along a primitive trail.0
