    11/2 - 12.99 miles, road bike, 11.94 ave. rode first 7.6 miles with the wife, 65.19 minutes, 761 caloreies.
    11/4 - 17.76 miles, road bike, 14.75 ave., 72.14 minutes, 1007 calories.
    11/6 - 14.31 miles, road bike, one of those fall days every direction I turned was against the wind.

    @tcaley4- Thanks! I usually quit riding when it gets around 40 degrees. This year I am trying to make it a goal to ride longer in the season. Yesterday I started out with light gloves on with my bike gloves over the top. rode .5 miles and my fingers were already cold. I turned around and when back home and got an old pair of snowmobile mittens I had. They worked great and wanted to ride longer but got a real late start and was running out of daylight.

    We have been sitting in the 20s and 30s for the past couple weeks and after our heat wave of 2 - 40 degree days we are going to go down again. I am going to try and ride outside through the winter but will also use my trainer. It has been interesting learning how to dress for colder weather & I look forward to having my first sub zero bike ride under my belt... moreso just to have done it.
    My least favorite conditions to ride in are cold and wet together. I don't mind cold too much and I don't mind wet when its a reasonable temp outside... cold and wet together is too much for me.
