My goal for this month is for 150 miles between indoor and outdoor riding.
I am going to try and focus more on strength training this month to help with my riding.

I got back in my bike in Saturday and got 110k and 1400m of vertical ascent in. It was great to get out in the fresh air but I couldn't believe how much biking fitness I had lost over the last 6 months. 2016 is going to be my year dedicated to my bike with a target of 7500km for the year.

Hi, since its got damp, dark and dangerous out I've been spinning at homw on the turbo trainer for 40-60 mins twice a week, weights twice a week and then out once at the weekend. With eating healthily, working out at home regularly I've found I'm gradually getting quicker out on the road. I'm still a huge bloke to be cycling and get overtaken by all the whippets in italian gear, but definitely going in right direction. As Greg Lemond said, "it doesn't get any easier, you just go faster". Absolutely loving cycling at the moment and can't wait for spring.

I'll go with 300 miles this month because I know the commutes will come to an end and I'm def looking to hit the weight pile since I can benefit from the surplus cals lately.

Nicely done man. I just passed 6,000 miles myself. Might be able to squeeze out 6,500 before years end.

Still chasing round to find work, but hopefully not as many evenings out with contacts as November so I'll try for 600km this month

    1st Dec: 31.96km @ 28.94 (sprint intervals)

Not been much of a rider but would do a couple miles to and from the bus to get to work. The buses here in Phoenix have racks on the front. Simple goal for me is to do this commute at least once this month. I'm laid off at the end of year, so plan to set bigger goals for 2016.

Well, 250 was a bit much last month, so I'll shoot for 200 - may be some trainer rides in there with the expected December wind and rain.

Popped into my local bike shop for cleats but somehow came out with a new Spiuk helmet, three pairs of socks and the cleats. Not sure how that happened.
